The location is perfect if you want to be directly at Knysna Waterfront. But the hotel was a real let down. It just isn't being maintained properly - the pool wasn't very clean, the pool shower didn't work (missing both a tap and a shower head), the lifts are all out of order and according to other online reviews this has been the case now since at least December (and was clearly a horrible problem for many of the older guests). In our room the fridge was missing a leg, badly needed defrosting, and was almost impossible to open because it was so close to the bed. We weren't given any drinking water during our stay, and the water from the taps is actually BROWN. I'm sure the water view rooms are better, we booked city view which is actually car park view -our fault. The breakfast was good and all the staff were lovely, but management are my l letting the place down badly. The months with lifts out of order?! Shame on you

Excellent for everything like location , comfort in rooms and amenities, breakfast, value for the paid money, will definitely revisit and refer to friends. Very well managed facility. I think the managers and supervisors keeping this place spot on.

The hotel has an amazing location right next to the waterfront, which was the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were okay. However, there is no concierge, no in-house restaurant for lunch or dinner, and room slippers are not provided, which was a bit disappointing.
