The apartment was fine and communication with the host was good. We appreciated that they allowed us to check in at 14:00 without an extra charge. Since it was Easter Eve and everyone was keen to get home early, it turned out to be a win-win situation for both us and the host, especially as the key handover was done in person. The apartament is at the 3rd floor and no elevator (that was not a problem for us, but be aware before booking it).

While the apartment itself was fine and the host was communicative, I feel compelled to warn future guests about several 'hidden' rules that were not disclosed before booking. Had these been transparent from the start, I would NOT have chosen this property. The property imposes steep late check-in fees (€25 to €50) for arrivals outside a very narrow window (15:00-19:00). This is particularly frustrating as the keys are kept in a lockbox 10-15 minutes away on foot. Furthermore, there are undisclosed surcharges for luggage storage and even a penalty fee if you accidentally leave the keys inside. These types of costs should be listed clearly in the description, not revealed after the booking is made. Check-in will be permitted outside these hours, always by prior arrangement, with an extra cost of €25 by 9pm and €50 by 11.59pm. Late check-out (when possible) €25 by 12:00; €50 by 3pm. - Our guests are reminded, during their stay in the apartment, not to forget their keys in the house before leaving. If this happens, a representative will come to open the door at a cost of €50. If they are lost, an additional €30 will be requested plus the cost of the keys.”

Casa curata e pulita, con tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari, lenzuola ed asciugamani puliti.

PPPeccato che nel periodo di giugno in cui siamo capitati non ci fosse una cosa fondamentale, ossia un condizionatore ( erano presenti un ventilatore un po' malconcio e una ventola in una camera, che a momenti veniva giù da quanto oscillava). La casa è quasi completamente esposta al sole e durante il giorno non c'era molto vento, per cui abbiamo fatto praticamente la sauna per due giorni, nonostante tenessimo le persiane giù per non fare entrare troppa luce. Scomodo anche il sistema di check in, con multe previste o pagamenti extra per avere agevolazioni quali il deposito bagagli o l'arrivo ad orari più flessibili (da 25€ di multa, fino a 50€, cumulabili…); inoltre le chiavi non sono davanti la casa per cui con 35 gradi abbiamo dovuto anche fare strada extra per arrivare a prenderle e depositarle. Sconsiglio vivamente durante il periodo estivo questo alloggio.
