Casa Viesseux

This appartment was very clean and comfortable and had almost everything we wanted for a short break in Florence. The kitchen was well stocked. Great to have a tv set up with YouTube channel on Florence. The owner was very helpful and replied to my WhatsApp queries within a few minutes. Very good communication and clear instructions as to how to get into the appartment initially.It was on the 3rd floor, but you could use the small and ancient lift if needed. Apart for the baggage, we generally used the stairs. The tram stop for the city centre was just outside tbe appartment. So handy!. 6 stops to the train station and tourist centre of Florence, only 2€. You can buy the ticket on the tram platform of the trams stop. The trams are very frequent. There is a very large Co-op nearby, 10 mins walk away, that sells everything. A typical Italian pizza and pasta restaurant is situated on the Angolo Piazza Pietro Leopoldo, can't recommend this place enough, so cheap and delicious if you enjoy lovely fresh cooked food. Up the other end of the same street is Thai, just as tasty but slightly more expensive. Both places were only a 5 to 7 minute walk from the appartment.

Noisy neighbours upstairs scraping their chairs and waking us up from 5.30am. Also trams and neighbours could be heard outside throughout the night. Not that the owner could have any control over this, but just to be aware if you are light sleepers. Could do with more than one pillow each, matress was passed its best, too, and so not very comfortable. Could do with a shelf above the sink in the bathroom, not much space to store your toiletries. Only small moans, but could be easily rectified.

Comfortable apartment and perfect for a family of four. The AC in both rooms was an absolute lifesaver during the intense heat wave! There’s a tram stop right outside the door that takes you straight to the city center, and supermarkets and cafes nearby. Parking was also super easy close by. Communication with Jacopo was absolutely excellent! We highly recommend it!

L’emplacement est idéal à côté du tramway, climatisation au top, spacieux et cuisine équipée.

Propriétaires peu réactifs, serrure compliquée on a mis deux jours à comprendre comment la porte s’ouvrait, hôte peu arrangeant.

Everything we needed nice and comfortable, close to public transport, great supermarket and awesome gelato store. Nice and quiet neighbourhood
