Pleasant stay in Florence in quiet residential area

Clean, spacious, well equipped, friendly responsive proactive host. Quiet and well maintained area, close to station and city old center even if you walk. Good internet, and a few local authentic restaurants and cafes nearby. Comfortable bed with premium linens offering a relaxing sleep.

It's a big two rooms apartment enough for our stay, easy parking, quiet neighbourhood.

The Mattress are collapsed, really uncomfortable. The bathing shower is too small.

Good clean and quiet apartment close to the centre and a short walk to the tram - good for a short visit.

Close to the tram network. Good size rooms ( we had 5 adults and a child staying ) quiet apartment block. Quick to respond to questions!

Quite a lot of steps down to the apartment - because we were using as a 3 bedroom the living room was one of the bedrooms, meaning no communal space to sit and relax apart from the kitchen. Ok for the 1 night we stayed but if you were staying longer it would put me off.

Completely satisfied stay

Exceptional location. Comfortable stay. Exceeded every expectation and was completely worth every cent. Will definitely recommend (already did to some friends) and will definitely rebook.

The location is very good, close to a station with easy access to all the city’s attractions. The accommodation had all the necessary amenities.

However, the cleanliness was not at a high level — there was hair in the fridge, bathroom, and so on. Also, our unit was in the basement, so there was a noticeable dampness, and it was a bit noisy due to the proximity to the street.

Spacious rooms. Close to city centre. Tram Station Leopoldo is 2 mins walksl.

Getting a parking spot (paid or free) is a huge challenge. The flat needs renovation. Door locks etc are old school, so it squeaks. The garden is also not maintained.

Nice Space, But Hygiene and Comfort Were Lacking

The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and had the option for separate rooms, which was a plus. The backyard was lovely, and the location was relatively good.

However, the cleanliness was disappointing. The pillows were dirty, and the sheets and pillowcases didn’t feel very clean either. The beds were also extremely noisy, creaking with even the slightest movement. On top of that, mosquitos were a big issue, and the mosquito repellent device didn’t work at all.

Totally recommend - great location, great host and amazing place to chill :)

Perfect location (2min to tram, 10min by tram to city centre), beautiful clean rooms and big kitchen. The host provided everything what was needed - hairdryer, towels, shampoo and gel, kitchen fully equipped as well.

It was a little bit cold, but as we contacted the owner he raised up the temperature and the radiators became hot. The table in the kitchen was not cleaned but there were detergents so we cleaned it by ourselves.

Perfect for groups

The apartment is big, it has a welcoming vibe and is confortable. It has climatisation. It has a good location because, although is not in the touristic area, is really close to the tram estation, to a supermarket and the apartment.

Great location, easy access, clean, spacious and all the kitchen appliances/utensils etc.

We couldn’t work the washing machine. Host helped us by responding to our question about the spin cycle, but in the end, it didn’t work for us.

This was a really great place to stay for our group of 16 to be close together. There was enough rooms and beds for us a

Bus parking out the front so we could be easily picked up by our tour bus. Felt like a home away from home with handy kitchen items to cook for ourselves. Air conditioning kept us cool on the really hot days.

Very comfy apartment.

Really enjoyed the apartment. They upgraded our room to a nicer one with a backyard garden. The apartment was clean and very comfy. The location is just beside public transportation which is very convenient. We would definitely save this apartment for our future visit to the city.

Very good

Clean apartment with access to a garden, equipped with everything you need, including a Nespresso coffee machine. Although it was 36 degrees outside, there was no need to turn on the air conditioning. It is located 2 minutes from the Leopoldo tram station and 3 minutes from the Esselunga supermarket. It was exactly what we needed for our short stay.

Superb

There was more than enough space for our Luggage. It was easy to find, once you get on the tram, 2min walk to the property. Safe area. The staff was very helpful and had good communication with us, be sure to follow the instructions they send just before visiting. No trouble getting into the appartement. Kitchen was fully stocked with necessities (food excluded). If we had more time and more money, we would go back and stay longer. Thank you Marco, this was a wonderful stay.

No microwave. Picking up key was a nightmare as we had a rental car. No coffee machine or coffee no tea or water..

Good location, but not very comfortable

The location is nice and quiet. Easy to reach the city center by tram that stops two minutes away and goes very often. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Owner was helpful and responded quickly to issues.

This is a review specifically for the Florence Duplex room. From what I could see the other rooms may have been nicer. The room did not have a built in aircon, but a mobile one. The fan that was also in the room was lame and there just weren’t enough outlets around to position it well anyway. The living room is in the basement and the whole apartment is a bit smelly and damp because of this. And very very dark. Every time someone rang the doorbell or mistook our room’s buzzer for the light switch in the hallway, we were wide awake. The bathroom has some hairdryers but nowhere to plug them in because they had the wrong plugs. Quite some mosquitos in the room as well. It was not a nice apartment to hang around in. For just sleeping it was somewhat fine.

Leopoldini Apartment is great!

Great, well laid out and renovated apartment. Close to tram for trips downtown. Lots of really good restaurants in walking distance. Try Fratelli Brigante. It's a superb restaurant.

Drains are a bit smelly at times. This seems to be a Florence wide problem.

Unpleasent surprise

Location close to public transport - 15 min to the city center. We could leave the luggage before check in and the host was replying quickly. Self check in

Nothing like the pictures. Dated furniture, spider webs everywhere, not clean enough. We booked two rooms with two beds in a room but received a bedroom with a double bed and two seperate single beddrooms one of which with a sofa. I'm quite suprised by the good reviews actually and booked because of that but will not do it again. Check out 10 AM
