Spalato Imperium - with terrace, free bikes

Was great and exactly as advertised, the bikes were really good addition.

The property was incredibly clean, cozy and the AC was very powerful. The host provides clean cooking utensils and a washing machine with detergent to clean up if you are backpacking at all.

We loved our stay at Spalato Imperium; the apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed (including coffee pods!), plus included the lovely private patio, which really extends your living space. Our host Šime was so accommodating and answered every message promptly. He arranged transport from the airport for us, which ended up being extra helpful after our flight was delayed by many hours, which we messaged him about. We were met at the airport, and at the apartment despite the late hour, where a fresh fruit, cookies and lemonade refreshment awaited us. It was an easy downhill 10-minute walk into town; we were so glad we had booked a walking tour there--Split is fascinating and the tour was very worthwhile. There are many restaurants, and there is a small grocery and a bakery just 2 or 3 blocks from the apartment. Although we fully intended to ride the bikes, we didn't, but will be sure to next time! We definitely recommend this apartment and host.

It is lovely apartment, comfortable, spotless clean, we had everything we needed. The nice patio is a big plus . We liked the location, quiet, and walking distance from the old town and port. Communication was excellent and our host couldn’t do more to make the stay better. A well deserved 10.
