October Trip

This was our second time using this apartment. The owners have given the bathroom a refurb, as it was a bit outdated, they have also given the kitchen area a refresh too. It's a good location, to Bridge of Allan and centre of Stirling which makes it a good base to travel from.

The only negative thing is , it's beside a busy road especially hear the traffic in the kitchen/living area. Fortunately the bedroom is at the back which means don't hear the traffic. However the railing line is at the back, but with the trains being electric they a lot quieter than you expect.

Convenient location with parking, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed in the bedroom.

- Not great attention to detail, like the toilet paper holder is very rusty and leave the toilet paper hanging on the floor; the main bin in the kitchen is so small that it is almost useless. - the apartment was generally clean, including the bedding, but some areas, like the table, were definitely not! - the shower was a nightmare- the water pressure was very low, clogged drain - the door at the bedroom wouldn’t close properly. - there is no tumble dryer (the description is incorrect) - we had to wait 2 - 3 days for the clothes to dry. - the sofa-bed in the living room is not comfortable to sleep on. We slept better by placing the mattress on the floor.

Great location for exploring the local area. Cosy and comfortable self-catering flat. Plenty of parking but also close to bus stops.

A few extra kitchen utensils would be really useful - scissors, a vegetable peeler and a medium size saucepan. A small set of drawers in the bedroom would help as well.

Lovely ground floor apartment a great location for visiting Wallace monument and surrounding areas of Stirling

Great location right on the doorstep of Wallace monument, close to Stirling centre a short drive away, apartment looked quite newly renovated, excellent condition, very clean with everything you need for a relaxing break. Parking outside property in an enclosed driveway car park. Also Sterling Train station is less than 2 miles away, we caught train to Edinburgh in 45minutes for an afternoon visit there.

Quiet, close to roads leading to everywhere!

Everything! Parking was so easy. Market nearby and right below the Wallace Monument. Everything was easy to get to from this location. Had all kitchen needs to cook for yourself. Hot water, bath was awesome. Communication with owners was easy also. I will stay here again!

Apart from the lack of drawers in the bedroom we did enjoy our stay. Lovely flat, great location.

The ground floor flat was well furnished and spotlessly clean. The location was great. Although situated with a fairly busy main road at the front of the building and a railway line at the rear the noise did not disturb us at all and we live in a very rural area where there is almost no traffic at all.

Although the bedroom had a large wardrobe there was very little room to hang clothes as there was a set of storage drawers on one side, which are the only drawers and they were full on toilet roll leaving no where to put clothes, so it meant that basically we were living out a suitcase. A high chair and a few other items were on the other side. It would be better to have 2 bedside tables as well. Perhaps a TV in the bedroom would be good!!! Maybe get the bathroom tiling finished off properly down the side of the bath?
