It was very clean. We used the kitchen a few times and it had everything we needed. A great apartment.
The only thing i would recommend is to bring an eye mask as the front bedroom was quite light in the early morning.

quiet neighborhood, close to supermarket, easy to get to and from main highways and town. Good base to explore from via rail to Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as the castle. Good town vibe and friendly people.
could have had more casual seating, enough for 4 guests.
