Excellent location but needs some TLC

The price and location were excellent and plenty of space.

The neighbours were very noisy. Girl across the landing had lost her key so was banging on the door for about 20 mins (which cant be helped by the host but didn't help our annoyance) The flat itself was very tired and needing some upgrades. None of the doors closed fully and they are creaked. The only door that closed was the bathroom one but it had to be locked to stay closed. This might be a fire safety thing but I don't know. The bathroom could have been cleaner, the shower doors were all still covered in water splash marks and the floor wasn't very clean. The double bed was also quite uncomfortable, could maybe do with a comfier mattress or a mattress topper. The dining chairs in the living room were the wobbliest chairs ever, thought they were going to collapse, we couldn't use them. It's hard to say we wouldn't come back because of the price and location but some of the above need looked at.

Beautiful, comfortable find for a great price

When we first walked into the building, we were a tiny bit concerned because it looked a little run-down, but as soon as we entered the unit, we were impressed by how modern, spacious and well-maintained it was. It's a beautiful place, and had more than enough room for three people to spread out comfortably. For the price, this place can't be beat. Well worth it.

The one very small downside was that the bathroom door lock didn't work, and the door didn't close all the way, leading to a couple awkward moments, for this family, who likes our privacy in the bathroom. Easy fix. Host was great, and easy to communicate with, although inflexible on the 10:00 am check-out time. travelling from Canada, it was a challenge to get up early enough to get the check-out time, and an extra hour would have been appreciated.

It’s a nice property, in a decent location. We have rented it multiple times.

It needs documentation which clearly explains how to use the heat, and major appliances. The bathroom door doesn’t latch and despite that the door is warped and it is explainable it’s really not acceptable.

The rubbish in the front yard of both places was disgusting. Old bottles and cans everywhere. Not a good first impression.

Pleasant.

Sam let us leave our luggage at his store, which allowed us to visit the places we wanted to see without having to take our luggage with us. The apartment is spacious and very quiet. It is in a very good location.

The apartment is jn an old building The bathroom needs to be refreshed.. The front door to the building was never locked. The air in the apartment itself was a bit stale.

2 night stay in Stirling

Location, it's about a 15 minute walk into town, it's across the street from Tesco. It's about a 20 minute walk to Stirling Castle or a 7 minute drive

Everything was good, though a bit of water leaks on the floor from the shower & the bathroom cupboard could do with an upgrade

Excellent location! Directly next door to a Tesco superstore which was handy. A short walk into town and a 5/10 minute walk to the train station meaning we didn’t need to use a cab at any point during our stay. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable. Minimal noise during the evening.

Decor is a bit dated and could do with an upgrade but that didn’t affect our stay in the slightest. The only downfall was the tv didn’t seem to work as there wasn’t a signal for the sky box.

very dissappointing

we had to chase around striling a few times to find the shop where the keys had to be picked. very difficult if you don't know stirling or where certain roads were. we then spent two hours trying to get parking somewhere near the flat so we could unload our cases etc. however no parking became available. as my daughter has cerebral palsy and her partner is registered blind parking was a major issue for us. i ended up parking around a mile away and getting a taxi to the flat and while the driver waited i left the keys inside and went back to my car and we left to come home. very dissappointing for us

Wonderful host and location, comfortable beds and large rooms!

The location was amazing. and communication with the host was great. Every question was answered quickly. It was also wonderfully to have 2 bedrooms and laundry machines.

It was neat and tidy, but it could have been cleaned a little better. The beds and bed linens were clean but the kitchen and bathroom floors, the kitchen counters and the shower could have been scrubbed a little better. I will admit I am a bit of a clean freak, so maybe it's just me.

Great location, ideal for visiting Stirling

Great location, very central which meant it was within walking distance of both the historical old town and the more modern parts of the city centre. The apartment was very warm and comfortable and well equipped, and the pillows were brilliant.

There were some minor maintenance niggles, but nothing that detracted from our overall stay which was very enjoyable.

Beds were comfy, shower pressure was really good. Sky TV available but remote inconsistent. Location was good with Tesco directly opposite. Paid parking available outside. Quiet area. Spacious and well equipped kitchen. WiFi was good.

The garden was overgrown and unusable, covered with weeds and some litter. Disappointing when garden activities are planned based off the photos. Front door to the building does not close at all and is not secure. Back door although you could close it was also always open so free entry from both sides for anyone to walk in. Bathroom door quite difficult to lock. Kitchen cold water tap does not work. Had to buy bottles of water. The front door pictures are not of this property and are further down the road and the interior and garden pictures don't reflect current condition.

Great location - central for Stirling. Good parking outside - it's paid for during the day (free in the evenings and Sundays) Convenient for Tesco. Lovely apartment with all the modern features to be expected. Will definitely be back.

it’s very close to city centre,easy walking from station and supermarket across the road. Everything was spotlessly clean. Has everything you need and was nice and warm. The owner was lovely and came out to see us without so much as a raised eyebrow to help us with a few minor issues .

Feel sorry about the litter in the garden and dirty outside hallway as this does not reflect the beauty of and care taken over the apartment.

Good

It was so clean and well presented, the beds were such home comfort. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the property was lovely and the location you couldn't ask for better. The owner/ staff, was extremely helpful, couldn't do more to help, was really a lovely person too.

Possibly our own fault, im not sure but it was so cold, the heating was not heating up the place, we were frozen, and we had to take the kids in bed with us, The heating came on for an hour and went off again, so with it being winter it was much colder. And no ones fault, but my man is over 6foot tall and broad shoulders, he struggled with the shower and fitting into it.
