Historic Trackside Retreat, Charming Getaway

A very beautiful house, close to the centre of Stirling. Everything was really well presented and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great communication from the property owner too. We had a lovely time and would stay here again. Thank you very much!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The house is next to the train tracks so there is some noise when trains go past, however the property owner was really clear about this before our stay so it was not a surprise. Also the kids loved seeing the trains go past!

The apartment is very big, the host were very nice and responsive and easy check in

The train pass near apartment make very noise and vibration, the bathroom is on 2 floor, the apartment is on first floor which may be big challenge for older people

Wonderful property with several period features and beautifully equipped. Lovely and clean, with everything you need from a self-catering accommodation. Great location, only a few minutes walk away from the train station. Trains run very close to the property but for us it was a plus - kids loved watching the trains running past and guessing their destinations. You can also see Stirling Castle from the windows - lovely view. Also great communication with the hosts.

Nothing. It is on the train line and the first time the train passed shocked us but then it was fine. Kids loved train spotting.
