St Johns Jailhouse by the Castle

Historic, central and well maintained.

The location was stunning. A highlight of our Scotland trip. Stirling is so incredible and this apartment is perfectly located. The kitchen was super cute, and the host included milk and eggs. The apartment is well decorated and well appointed. It has 3 bedrooms and a living room. It's in a very old building, but the apartment extremely functional and comfortable. And the views from the apartment are beautiful, both front and back.

These are quibbles because we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and wished we could stay longer: at the lockbox on the sidewalk you collect 2 keys. The first gets you into the exterior door. You then go down a hallway to a second door and then you are in the shared backyard. Then you enter another door into an enclosed spiral staircase and climb two flights of fairly tight spiral stairs. Then you use the second key to enter the apartment. It's quite a bit to do with lots of luggage, but like I said, we would do it again. Also, the drain pipe on the exterior was leaking and needs attention.

Camera molto curata, spaziosa e pulita. Anche se non era prevista la colazione abbiamo trovato una colazione continental che abbiamo apprezzato molto. A 5 min dal porto, in zona silenziosa. Parcheggio gratis lungo la via senza problemi. Self check-in semplice
