Wonderful!

Wonderful place! If you like to go on walking tours you can start just where you are; along the river Ahr/ up in the woods/ along Rotweinweg/thorugh a small winyard to Ahrweiler...or skip it all and just relax on the terrass or on the balcony. Easy to get in touch with the nice and helpful host on WhatsApp. There is an apartment on the groundfloor too. The apartments are connected with an inner staircase and on the top of of the stairs there's a door, that goes to our apartment on the first floor. It is locked of course. I suppose it will suite a big family to book the whole house with that door unlocked.

The key to the locked door (to the staircase to the ground floor) in our hall, laid just above the door. I sent an e-mail to the owner and asked her to remove that key and so she did. I also asked her to remove the keys to the kitchen door and the bedroom door, as these keys also fit in the door leading to the ground floor. Probably the keys in the groundfloor also fit. She answered that she trusts her guests, therefore the keys still will be there. She was perfectly right in our case, our passports and my jewelleries worth 4000 € laid beside my bed all the time. -Hopefully, criminals don't spend their holiday here.

Ruhig, erholsam und die herrliche Natur :-)

Die Lage gefiel uns sehr gut. Direkt an der Ahr, viel Natur und ruhig. Das Ahrtal ist einfach wunderschön. Man kann hier tolle Wandertouren unternehmen. Auch wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Dusche ist etwas eng- aber das war es auch.

Prima verblijf

Mooi appartement aan de oever van de Ahr. Twee balkons, met uitzicht op de Ahr of de wijnbergen. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, prima bedden. Douchecabine is wat krap En we misten een waterkoker in de keuken Ongeveer 1,5 km vanaf het gezellige en pittoreske centrum van Ahrweiler. Veel bouwwerkzaamheden overal, voor heropbouw na de watersnood, maar daar heb je verder geen last van. Behalve dat niet alle bruggen er meer zijn. We hebben een prima verblijf gehad!
