Apartment Altstadtflair

Eine sehr schöne, geschmackvolle Wohnung mit allem was man benötigt. Sehr gute Lage mit Parkplatz und netten Vermietern! Alles bestens!

Sfeervol, schoon en erg compleet appartement. Luxe om zo binnen de stadsmuren te zitten met een eigen oprit en tuintje. Zeer fijn contact vooraf. Eigenaar reageert snel.

Het enige wat jammer was, is dat de douche telkens koud werd, maar verder niks aan te merken op dit super appartement.

The apartment was very well situated, close to shops and restaurants, and were hiking routes within walking distance. The apartment made good use of the space and was newly decorated, we really enjoyed the sauna. The courtyard is very pretty at night and there was a bottle of wine as a welcome gift.

We had no contact from the hosts before the stay, I had to Whatsapp them to get the check-in details the day before arrival, as we still had not heard from them. When we arrived, the front door was open and the key to the apartment was in an unlocked box, not great in terms of safety. The flat was full of flies, many fruit flies as well as big blue bottles. Shockingly, despite paying over €150 per night, we were only given less than 1/4 of a toilet roll and had to buy our own paper. The kitchen equipment is seriously worn, we could not even use the non-stick pans as they were so scratched they were not safe to use. There is absolutely no sound insulation, you can hear everything from the flat above, it made it very difficult to enjoy the apartment. I was woken up multiple times throughout the night by the people upstairs going to the toilet (yes, you can hear that!), so I barely slept. The pillows are of terrible quality. A cot was provided, but the sheets were stained and we did not feel comfortable using them. There is limited on street parking and we were woken up at 7am one morning by the garbage men asking us, and everyone else parked in the street, to move the car to let the truck past. Again, no contact from the hosts about what to do upon check-out. Ultimately, it did not live up to our expectations given the price being charged and we wish we stayed elsewhere.
