Nice and close to the ferry port. Great dinner.

Room was tiny beyond belief and very noisy. Issue with my booking and spent initial half hour convincing the property I had paid. Booked breakfast for 7am and turned up to the cleaner mopping the floor and no food. She did her best to help us out as we had a boat to catch but was obviously not informed. Team behind the bar dismissive.

Very nice room, we booked a suite, great view & parking, Suites cost more

Breakfast was very disappointing, only one type of bread, baguette, one type of croissant chocolate, no eggs or meat of any kind, no cheese ? in France ?? Would have given 5* but Breakfast is a joke

Great overnight stay close to Le Shuttle.

We stayed at Face à la Mer en route to Antwerp and Cologne from the UK and stayed again on our way back home. This hotel-restaurant is in a great location overlooking the sea at Gravelines and is a short drive from the Le Shuttle terminal. It is, therefore, perfect for an overnight stay. Our bedroom was fairly small but was comfortable, clean, and warm. The only issue for me was that there was no hairdryer, but that's probably not an issue at all for most guests. The breakfast was really nice - simple but great quality with excellent coffee and croissants. We ate at the busy restaurant on one of our stays. The food was OK but the atmosphere was great, as were the staff. There appear to be a couple of other restaurants in the vicinity. Parking is free, and the location is stunning. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for our needs. And obviously the price was good too.

The bed was a small double. Too small! The en-suite was a tad strange in that it was like a cubicle inside the room with a large window on one wall. Looking straight into the bedroom. No privacy at all. The sink was tiny.

Superb

Lovely welcome from staff and locals. My pigeon French managed to order beers, and the staff were more than willing to work with language. Isn't that part of the experience...? Beautiful view of the beach with miles of sands. Food wasn't rushed but in time, delicious and well presented by courtious staff. A real gem to visit, highly recommended.

Room was a bit on the small side so don't expect a Premier Inn sized bed.

This is not a room for 3 people , this is not a room at all , Toilette is without door , shower with door broken , cost of room expansive . Dinner also very expansive but good , Breakfast without eggs , omolette, charcuterie, fromage , so no classique Breakfast, but prodoct used have good quality. We dont come back again.

Wonderful hotel/restaurant opposite the beach

The location is fabulous! The hotel is directly opposite the beach and my room and restaurant had a gorgeous sea view. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Prices were very low for what was offered. There is secure parking for guests. It is only 15 minutes from Dunkirk car ferry. The hotel gives you a luxurious break at a low price.

The mattress needs a topper but this small negative point is not important compared to the many positive points.

Exceptional

The location was exactly what I wanted. I flew kites on the beach and cycled around the area. It was the perfect recovery break from motorway driving on the way to Calais. And the restaurant was superb!

The room was quite bijou but that suited my needs exactly.

Perfect location, comfortable, friendly staff

Perfect location right at the beach, very nice restaurant with great food and very friendly staff! Free parking in front of the hotel. Rooms are simple but comfortable, comfortable bed. Nice breakfast included. We stayed one night before taking the ferry to Dover, this was the perfect place to stay, close to the Ferry terminal of Dunkerque.

Great location

The view was spectacular and restaurant food very good.

Small room, which is kind of OK, but the bathroom had glass between it and the bedroom - no privacy, although the view when sitting on the loo was fantastic. No one arrived to open the room for breakfast, which is included in the price, and they knocked on our door for payment the night before. Didn't get anything to eat until we were back in the UK.
