Location excellent. Property clean and well stocked. Log fire with enough wood for a burn. The complimentary bread, eggs and milk to tied us over was a god send. A comments book gave us some additional ideas of places to go. Lots of pamphlets of local interests and a few books and games for rainy days.
The prospect of having to add money to a pay meter if it had been cold enough to need to use the wall heaters. Wall heaters ineffective unless on a very high temperature and therefore very costly, the oil filled radiator we brought for our camp on the 2nd week was far more efficient. Strange drain smell from the bathroom. Some black out blinds in the bedroom for those of us not used to only 5 hrs of night.

Host was very responsive ( unlike booking.com ) in communicating when able , and adapting to the wild seas and ferry delays. Room and cottage a delight, either well thought out little extras.

Lovely cosy cottage on the shores of a loch. We loved the views, and the wood burning stove was great on a cold night. Friendly helpful hosts. Location was very central on the island, so we could get to most of the main sights in 20 minutes or less.
