Sensational, magical and a secret I shall keep!

Everything was perfect. Magical location easy for walks and just to enjoy spectacular views of the Moray Firth. I grew up locally and was always fascinated by our beautiful lighthouse at the beach, so it felt like staying with an old friend. The house has been furnished beautifully and so comfortable, whilst maintaining the unique characteristics of the cottage.

The bath was a little ‘hairy’ on arrival, but only took a quick clean. Sink in bath Room a slow drainer. I’m truly scraping the barrel to find any flaws, but these two points would have made it ‘an even better if’

What an absolutely amazing spot. Beautiful, peaceful, tranquil. Views are second to none.

The basic amenities were not provided. No milk on arrival or any sort of welcome ‘pack’ including bare essentials. We had to buy salt/pepper/ sauces and strangest of all cleaning products despite there being signs within the property to keep it clean, nothing was actually provided to do so which you wouldn’t expect at any self catering place.

Covesea experience

The location was fabulous, the view, and the surrounding area was beautiful. Great beaches and terrific walks .

It was very busy , with people walking through the private area , but most were considerate .We could understand everyone wanted to see the lighthouse , We were told this could happen , so no worries .

Lighthouse hideaway

Amazing and unique accommodation and location, even able to arrange a lighthouse tour. Would recommend it for families as plenty of space. Enjoyed walks on the beach and along the coast and visited local historic sites that were open.

The coloured night lighting on the lighthouse was nice but couldn't be turned off and interferred with stargazing on the few clear nights we had.

Perfect retreat

Location was fantastic, very comfortable and cozy inside, clean and well presented. Everything we could need was all at hand. Very scenic and out of the way. Plenty to explore closeby.

If I have to be picky, the kitchen knives need sharpened but they were useable. Otherwise excellent all round

An amazing place with so much space for the kids to play out next to the lighthouse and to the rear of the properties. 2 minutes down the path to a stunning beach to the west. Unspoilt and lovely. Cottage had ok WiFi and was spotless clean wise. Fantastic cafe 5 Mon walk away. Watched planes from RAF Lossiemouth and saw dolphins in the sea from the lighthouse grounds. Lighthouse lit up on a night. Cottage kitchen well equipped. We will be back again!

All I can say the accommodation was absolutely superb. Very clean with all the utilities you required for your stay.
