I always wanted to stay in a yurt, and it was fun. Glamping. There is a small heater that warms the room quickly. The owner walked us through all the necessities.
My husband wasn’t as happy. In particular, he would have preferred a table that did not require sitting on the floor on a cushion. The yurts are on the edge of a large campsite for tents and camper vans. The bathrooms are about 100 yards away. There is a microwave, barbecue and a kettle, but no stovetop/burner.

Location in Dornoch was great. Really loved the yurt and enjoyed the experience of staying in one.

These yurts are a wonderful place to stay, are very warm and comfortable with everything you need, and have bags of character. Darren is friendly and attentive, the campsite facilities are great, and it's a short walk to the stunning beach.
Mind you don't bang your head on the doorway as it might really yurt!
