Lovely comfortable spacious yurt. All you need for a short break. Campsite toilets were clean and no queues for showers in the morning.
The distance of the yurts from the toilet block could be an issue for the elderly, especially in poor weather in the middle of the night. Perhaps a dedicated portaloo in the vicinity of the yurts could be a solution.

We had a wonderful stay at Rainbow’s End Yurt and would happily return. The yurt itself was much more spacious than we expected, beautifully presented, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain everything about the yurt and offering helpful local recommendations. On his suggestion, we had dinner at the Castle Hotel in Dornoch, which was excellent and made for a lovely evening out.
One of the highlights was the comfort of the bed – we had one of the best night’s sleeps of our entire Scotland trip. The yurt felt cosy, peaceful, and well thought out, with all the facilities we needed for a relaxing stay.
The only small suggestion we would make is that a mirror in the main yurt area would be useful, particularly for guests getting ready to go out in the evening. It may have been there and we simply missed it, but it was the only thing we found ourselves looking for.
Overall, a fantastic experience in a unique and memorable place to stay. Highly recommended. 😊

Everything. Cannot fault anything at all. Even the wee trip to to toilet and shower blocks was fine.
Nothing. It is such a great location, cosy and comfortable. The kids loved it too.
