Lovely couple of days away as a family!

We recently stayed at the pods as a family of three with a toddler during Storm Amy. I really appreciated the owners offering to let us change our dates due to the storm, but we’re used to bad weather and were happy to still come. The pod was extremely sturdy and we never once felt worried about the storm — in fact, it was the perfect setting to be cosy and snug while the wind and rain raged outside. We loved all the wee touches (milk in the fridge, hot chocolate, cereals), and the location was great — very close to both the town and the beach, which we explored once the weather cleared up. The bed was super comfy and the shower was excellent. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful place.

Our pod was great, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. It had underfloor heating, which would be great on chilly mornings. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Really quiet location which suited us. Dornoch is such a beautiful town. Welcome pack was a nice gesture. Will definitely return.

There was no storage for clothes, which is ok for a short stay, but if you were there for more than that, it could be awkward. When I visit again, I think I would bring a flat storage box to slide under the bed, perhaps,

Great location and excellent value

The quality and cleanliness of the pod was excellent, lovely fresh smelling towels, comfortable bed and brilliant shower, having the welcoming pack of coffee, tea and breakfast cereal etc was a really nice touch, I based myself here for three nights when enjoying some motorbike touring up north, totally impressed and I’m sure I’ll be back

Everything you need in a small cosy comfortable package

Pods are brilliant , small and cosy but has everything you could possibly need . There was 2 adults a 15 year old and an 11 year old staying in here and had plenty of space

One small improvement would be a magnet on the blind above the double bed to stick it to the wall as the light was shinning on our face from 6am but honestly that’s really nit picking the place was brilliant

The pod was extremely clean with everything you could need. There was a carton of milk already in the fridge which was a lovely touch. There were 4 of us staying in the pod, and we all slept well. The location was quiet and I enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the mornings.

Perfect quiet location - Couldn't fault it

Perfect location with stunning view. Clean and very comfortable within easy reach of Dornoch, Golspie and Brora. Keysafe info forwarded in good time with clear and concise instructions. Such a very quiet site despite being close to the main road.

Lack of storage space might be an issue if staying for an extended period of time, but for the short stay we had it wasn't a problem.
