A lovely cottage, very central in the town

A very nice, comfortable and tastefully decorated cottage. Located centrally in the town, on a side street so it was lovely and quiet. The cottage had everything we needed, and it was nice to have a separate dining room and lounge. The beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host Julia was quick and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage and felt so much at home we did not want to leave!

Nothing negative at all – just to point out though the shower space is small but one sees this clearly on the photos.

This was a great stay for us on our golfing trip up north and allowed us to relax and keep up to date with our washing.

Very central and quiet. Nicely decorated cottage which had everything you could need and the beds were very comfortable. Separate dining room and lounge downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs.

A very happy holiday in a lovely cottage in beautiful and interesting part of Scotland.

I loved the cottage and felt very much at home during my stay. It was comfortable, very well equipped, homely and full of character. There was a good supply of maps and information about Dornoch and the surrounding area and the cottage was well situated within the town: in a quiet location yet very close to the historic town centre, shops and the wonderful beach. I particularly enjoyed beach and woodland walks, visiting the nearby Loch Fleet Nature Reserve and exploring other coastal villages during my stay. Lots to see and do and too little time! ...

We loved Dornoch and the surrounding area. The cottage was very clean and we thought the decor was good. The cottage was really close to all the shops,cafes and restaurants as well as the beach. A great choice.

Very good

Great location, very easy to find. Beach was a short walk and shops were on the doorstep. The cottage had a great deal of character and lots of extras such as fishing rods and golf clubs. Comfortable and clean with what looked like recently renovated bathroom and downstairs toilet. Unlimited on-street parking. Excellent communication from our host with very clear instructions.

The cottage has storage heating which was fine with us as we had wonderful warm weather but maybe not so good in the winter.

Lovely two bedroom cottage on a quiet street close to local amenities, with two large bedrooms and two good size rooms downstairs. If you like walking there are lots of OS maps for you to use and many information leaflets and books.

Only downside if you are average height or above you could find the shower a bit challenging due to the sloping roof.

Location easy to walk to restaurants and pubs

Storage heating switch off so no heating 1st night . There were electric fires so that helped. Garden on slope , not really suitable for eating outdoors.
