Peaceful and relaxing

Everything, couldn’t have asked for better , the bed was so comfortable, best nights sleep I’ve had for a year and a half. Kate was very welcoming and helpful, also let us check out later. We will be back.

Superb

Willowbank is located in a peaceful, elevated, countryside location, overlooking the Somerset levels. Kate and her family are very welcoming. Free firewood is provided for the indoor wood burner and outdoor firepit. Eggs, milk and marshmallows were a lovely touch too. There is a pub with very good food in the next village a 5 min drive away. The Quantock Hills are a about a 30 mins drive away via the scenic route and well worth the trip if you like walking.

Perfect little place for two

Such a charming place, pretty, cozy and quiet. Lovely views, bird song is the only 'noise' you could hear. Hosts were very nice and thoughtful. We were very sad to leave, and will surely come back!

Very good reception from Kate and Boots the cat. The house is very cosy and clean. Very lovely surroundings and the views overlooking the farm and looking at the horses and sheep were just so good. Heating from the wood burner is some nice and classy touch of the whole place. We loved the whole experience. Clean hot showers , working oven and hot plate to cook... it is all brilliant

lovely little Gem of a Place

Gorgeous little place - so well thought out with lots of individual touches . Kate the hostess was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home . It was the perfect place to wind down, so peaceful with beautiful views. the log burner kept the hut warm and cosy . There were yummy chocolate muffins waiting for us and fresh eggs . Boots the cat was a regular visitor too ! one night just wasn’t enough !

Peaceful & comfortable - the accommodation clearly a labour of love

The location was spot on for peaceful, natural surroundings. All the home amenities were there and extra touches to provide comfort were thought of. It was spacious for the type of property it was. We liked all the home touches

There wasn't much we didn't like. The location of the hut means your right in the face of the elements so when the weather was poor we could hear the wind and rain but it was so cosy inside that it didn't really matter. The view is worth it.

Magical little hut!

AMAZING!!! My husband and I we spent our wedding anniversary weekend in this cute little hut. lovely biscuits and fresh egg were waiting for us(and even milk in the fridge for our morning cuppa!) very clean with comfy bed. Definitely will be coming back. highly recommended!

Superb

Beautiful, quiet setting. Very well appointed with thoughtful touches to make it feel very homely. Absolutely fabulous welcome from Kate and Boots the cat. Hot tub was a definite bonus.

The only issue we had were some young willow trees that made a racket on the roof and walls in a the high winds over the weekend we were there. We should have chirped up after the first night but didn’t. Kate could not have been nicer about it and sorted them out after we had left. But to be honest that was an external thing and nothing to do with the accommodation. We enjoyed every minute we were in the hut and unwound in style!

Lovely relaxing escape away, beautiful shepherds hut and scenery, loved our little visits from a few of the dogs and boots the cat!

Our stay was lovely, our only negative was that the hot tub was turned off on the last day which we presumed may be for cleaning, we just weren’t aware until we went to get in it on our last evening

Kate is a great host. A warm welcome and great attention to detail. The shepherd's hut is lovely, cozy and comfortable, with great views and the hot tub is an added bonus. A great place to relax and unwind. We will be back and will recommend to all of our friends. 10 out of 10

A lovely experience!

Staying at the Willowbank Shepheard's hut was an amazing experience. Kate was beyond helpful and assisted us with all of our needs. The eggs and biscuits we received upon arrival were such a lovely added touch. The weather was lovely which allowed us to spend plenty of time outside in the sun, we loved the fire pit/BBQ which we used on both the evenings of our stay. The bed was super comfy and we both had the best nights sleep. I honestly couldn't fault our stay, we'll definitely be back!

Lovely, cosy cabin in the heart of Somerset.

We had a lovely stay here. Kate has thought of everything and even has milk in the fridge for your arrival! The views are great and the outside fire pit and grill comes with an endless supply of logs. The animals are as friendly as Kate and the lambs and dog roam around freely! Would definitely stay here again.
