The Nook: Self Contained Annex

The Nook was close to train station local restaurants and pubs. The property contained everything you need for a short stay and was very clean throughout. I’d recommend the Nook to anyone visiting Taunton.

Convenience of a to place of study, small and compact, great little “Nook” was a lovely place.

The door entrance light would not turn off, so in evening it lit the nook. Even though the very tasteful blind.

Everything you could possibly need was provided and it was very quiet.

Everything was great.

The property was lovely and clean with modern facilities the Bathroom was lovely the kitchen had all the amenities you needed and parking permit was provided for the street parking for every day we were there. It’s in a good location for walking to the shops has a bridge over the railway to get into town.

Whilst it served it purpose it literally is just a place to put your head down. There is not enough storage we had to put our cases back in the car, it is advertised as a 1 bedroom annex so I expected a separate bedroom (should be advertised as a small studio) to my dismay it is a pull down bed so living room, kitchen, dining area and bedroom all squashed into this converted garage at the bottom of the garden. Once the bed is pulled down there is no room at all I had to climb over my husband in the night to get to the bathroom , I had to put the dog bed on the sofa at night as there was no where to put it. The kitchen is really only suitable for making hot drinks.
