Host & Stay - 36 Waterside Place

The property is exactly as pictured. Clean and comfortable with almost everything you could desire. I loved it and absolutely would return. Clear updates were provided via email on how check in and out along with a helpful manual placed in the apartment with additional information. Exterior landscaping was a bit run down and as a plant lover this made me sad. I rated 7/10 only because there was a heat wave and not a single fan was provided. I have noted though, that this is a cultural thing in England as most places don’t have air conditioning and heat is tolerated well by most.

The location and the amenities

It was too hot considering we visited in July. A pedestal fan would have been appreciated. We couldn’t open the windows as they were small bugs coming in the room from the window.

Very comfortable and well equipped with plenty of parking which was particularly good. The location was great as was the view of the river from the apartment.

The bathroom would have been better if it had a shelf or small bathroom table to put things on. We had to use the floor for our wash bags and couldn’t put out our daily use things unless we used the floor.

The property was in quite an industrial area but was close to town

Cleanliness was a real issue - the fridge was dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned. Bed side tables were also dirty. The property markets itself as having premium furnishings - this is not the case, very cheap. Also, host said that there was a Nespresso machine but none was in the property.
