Beautiful family run guesthouse with a view

This is a family run guesthouse and they were so nice and helpful. Was up and waiting at midnight to check us in. Room is very comfortable and had a great breakfast on the patio overlooking the bay. Great location to explore blue lagoon, white sand beach, or to catch a ferry. We even hired their son to drive us to Amed and he was a great driver and so friendly.

Great Bay View House in Padang Bei, will be going back

The location was perfect overlooking the harbor. It’s a traditional Balinese home with intricate painted door carvings throughout. The kind and warm owners welcome you like family. Delicious Breakfast is served on a huge private balcony overlooking the harbor. The bathroom is spacious, bed is comfy, air conditioner worked great as well as WiFi. We originally only booked for 1 night before heading to Gili Air but stayed 3 nights because we loved it so much. The owners booked our fast ferry and walked us over personally which was helpful as it seemed a little chaotic and confusing as to which boat to take. Will definitely stay here again.

We didn’t have any issue but a word for those with limited mobility the stairs to the superior room are a little steep but other rooms are available, you won’t be disappointed!

Quiet, relaxing, great views

Very nice room with and extraordinary large balcony with views to the bay. On top of that it is run for the most lovely local family, they are wonderful and aiming to help in anything you need, calm, relax without pressure or stress. Absolutely recommend!

Sweet home stay in centre

My hosts were really lovely. The room is simple but clean, tidy and spacious. There's a balcony and you can watch the neighbours putting out the offerings in the family temples in the AM. The location was perfect for me to easily walk to the ferry.

There's a narrow staircase up to the room which may be difficult for some people.

Warm and welcoming.

The family who own and run Bay View House were lovely. Right from the airport pick up we were made to feel so welcome. The upstairs room at the top has a fantastic balcony to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds around us. Our room was clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. A highlight was the home made breakfast. It was a delightful stay.

The only thing that I could comment on here is the flight of stairs you need to take to go up to the top room. It is very steep and narrow and may be an issue if you have mobility issues or are not good with stairs.

Great stay close to the port.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Bay View House in Padangbai. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the port, which made catching the ferry to Gilli T super convenient. The breakfast was delicious, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to help with our ferry booking and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone passing through Padangbai!

I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. Extremely clean and quiet, and right next to the port for easy access to the ferry. The hosts went above and beyond for me to help me with my luggage. The breakfast was lovely, and it was also amazing to have transport to and from the airport. Stress free! Super friendly hosts

Lovely little B&B

We booked Bay View House in case we had a rough crossing from Sengiggi but as it was we had a smooth crossing. A few minutes walk from the harbour, easy to find with google maps. Welcomed upon arrival by the host, stayed on the top floor with the large terrace. Comfortable bed and small fridge in the room. Room was clean, bathroom needs updating but the host herself mentioned that she is aware of this and it will be done when time allows. Host and her husband were extremely helpful during our short stay and arranged our onward taxi at a reasonable price. Breakfast was good, ordered the day before and delivered at a time agreed. Perfect little B&B at the harbour.

Good for transit

It’s in very good location for catching a ferry to islands and host family was very heartfelt and nice.

Bathroom situation is weird… if you take a shower, for the reminder of time you will have to slump through water on the floor to get to toilet. Drainage is the wrong side of the bathroom. Also room quite dark, in comparison with the pictures provided. Windows are not really windows - they lead to another small enclosed room with no natural light.

Safe reliable host and clean room (perfect for solo travelers)

Very clean room, amazing hosts and the driver came to pick me up from the airport, he was very patient and waited for me while I got lost . They woke up extra early to make me breakfast and they put on a take way container. I felt safe as a solo female traveler, they put me in the room at the top facing the ocean. Excellent location to catch the ferry.

🌟 Amazing Balinese hospitality – they welcomed us like family and made our stay unforgettable!

A property with authentic Balinese charm, where the hosts’ hospitality is worth more than ten luxury hotels. The atmosphere is warm and personal, and their kindness truly touched us. PS: They even sent their son to pick us up from the airport, waited patiently until midnight, and when we mentioned we were hungry, they kindly shared their own food with us. Short but most definitely sweet, we will 100% recommend this hotel and with definitely stay again :)

The location was perfect for the ferry access :) The family who owned the hotel were all absolutely lovely :) The view from the top room was spectacular and the bed was super comfortable :) The son came to collect us from the airport, what a lovely young man a very nice welcome to Bali :) My daughter thought the banana pancakes for breakfast where delicious :)

The bathroom in the top floor room could do with a little paint and shower heads need changing.

Great value great hosts great location and super clean

Great location, 1mn walk from the sea port. Room was spacious and tidy clean. But beyond that, the hosts are very kind and helpful. They waited for me quite late in the light, helped me with luggage and finding my way. Breakfast was served in my room, on the terrace, sea view. I’d recommend and would go again!

Simply excellent

Oh it was wonderful… great architecture, lovely eclectic town by the beach.. so handy to , we can also highly recommend, the ekajaya fast ferry… our hostess and her family was amazing… they carried our bags up and down stairs.. the brekkie was delicious, scrambled eggs, followed by fresh fruit and the best coffee we have ever had. We highly recommend this property…. Just simply amazing Thank you so much for having us and we will definitely be back for sure. 👍👍👍👍🌈🌈🌈🌈❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great location for speed boat, great breakfast, very friendly family.

Very friendly, we arrived late at the airport and had an early ferry to bangsal, the location is 1 minute walk away from the speed boat. Very friendly family, lovely traditional Breakfeast!!

Beautiful stay

We had two room for us, one like a saloon and the other one the bedroom. Both were so big and really clean. We had the breakfast every morning when we wanted and the family there brought to us. We could choose different things like sweet breakfast or salty breakfast (toasts,eggs...). Lovely place and lovely People. The boss from there was also a taxi driver for us. We,ve got a beautiful day with him to discover différents place around ubud . And every time with a lot of explanation about these place and Bali in général.. so kind People.

Perfect for a one night stay before boarding a boat at the harbour. Easy to grab dinner near by.

Amazing room with stunning views, a super helpful friendly family and fantastic services.

We stayed on the top floor which has stunning views over the Ocean. The room was huge and beautifully deocrated with high ornate ceilings. The combination of ocean breezes, spectacular views and a massive balcony, made the room extra special. The bar fridge is stocked with cold drinks, including cheap beer and complimentary water. The breakfast was great and their fresh juices are the best. The bed was super comfortable too. But above all, the hosts made our stay feel like we were at home. They organised our boat tickets to Gili Air with a return from Lombok and gave us a really good price. They took us directly to the boat so we weren't scammed at the harbour and helped with our luggage. They actually kept our suitcase for us while we were on the islands and it was waiting for us in our room on return as we stayed there again. It was so nice to get off the boat and just walk for 2 minutes straight to our room. The hosts were so generous in so many ways. Their son drove us to the airport and I left my sunglasses in his car so he returned to the airport to give them to me. Their friendliness and genunine desire to help made us feel very relaxed and like we were part of their family. It was my favourite homestay experience in all of Indonesia.

Overnight accommodation in family guest house , we were well looked after & slept well.

Our hosts were very attentive & helpful. We enjoyed our served breakfast to a private arena beside our bedroom. Appreciated the help with luggage to our ferry the next morning. We also used the airport transfer service of our hosts & also when we returned from Lombok Brian drove us back to the airport.

Welcoming, kind and comfortable!

The most wonderful family owned room, the couple were so so lovely, helpful, and the cutest women making breakfast every morning. We left very early on our check out and they made sure we had eaten and were sorted. Overall, room was ideal, very comfy bed and perfect location between the 3 major beaches! Lots of food nearby.

Little bit of construction going on next door but didn’t start until 8:00am so not to complain massively. Not the accommodations fault.

Really loved this beautiful, authentic home - great view over the harbour, close location to catch ferry & such attentive, helpful owners . A perfect option for an overnighter in Padangbai & incredibly good value for money.

Lovely traditional Bali guesthouse with wonderful hosts

Tucked away in a laneway near the harbour this is a gem of a guesthouse Wayan and his lovely wife want you to be comfortable. There is a huge amount of room for two people. And a pleasant view with ocean breezes. It has aircon in the bedroom and also has a sitting room Excellent breakfast is included

The property was clean and they looked after me well. It was a family run property.

Nice and relaxing stay on the way to Gili islands

I loved this family run home with its beautiful traditional Balinese decor. I enormously appreciated the very kind and friendly attitude of the owners. A very broad space is available to guests, which makes the stay more pleasant. The breakfast was excellent and the owners helped a lot with the airport pickup and with booking sea transportation. I couldn't be more thankful for this short but blessed stay. Will surely come back again! ❤️

Hosts were very friendly and it’s a great location for catching a boat over to the Gili islands from. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable for an evening.

For the room itself which is just in a home stay in the town on reflection I think it’s quite expensive. You are upstairs above a few family homes, and it’s worth pointing out you can hear all the noise from outside from in the room. The WiFi wasn’t great but it is available at the property

Great accommodation for boat transfer

The family that rents this accommodation is super friendly. The son picked us up from the airport, the father welcomed us at the accommodation and drove us to the ATM and showed the way to the boat and the mother cooked us a delicious breakfast. You get a lot of space when booking this accommodation.

The bathroom is a little bit outdated and could use an upgrade.
