Good solution - nice bar - lovely people

Staff and location perfect. Personnel vey helpful and kind. Lovely small balcony.

The bed is not very comfortable. It is a bit old, and one feels the springs. The bathroom can be a little renovated, there is no space for the toiletries bag.

The owner was so incredibly kind, she let us check-in after a problem with our boat forced us to take the ferry and arrive to Padangbai very late. The room was quite spacious, clean and she let us store our bags and even shower after the beach the next day. Would definitely recommend!

Another perfect stay

My family and I have stayed several times at Zen Inn on our way to the Gilis. We love the friendly staff who greet us so warmly. The rooms are just lovely and equipped with everything for our stay. The breakfast choice is perfect and included in the very reasonable price of the stay. Thankyou again for a lovely stay

Close to fast ferry. Lovely staff, perfect for a short stop over. We checked in after 11pm and the staff opened the Kitchen for us just so we could eat dinner.

Perfect place for a short stay before heading to the Gili Islands — clean, comfortable, and very close to the harbour. H

We stayed here for one night after arriving in Bali before catching the boat to Gili, and it was perfect! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s also in a great location — very close to the harbour, which made our transfer super easy. Would definitely recommend for a convenient and relaxing stopover!

Fine for one night

Perfect location to catch the ferry, breakfast cooked to order, room was fine but nothing amazing.

Room and bathroom were a bit dated and rough around the edges, there was a strong vomit smell permeating from the corridor outside our room.

Its terrible.

Its terrible. We booked our accommodation on Booking.com and clearly called the hotel in advance to request a pickup, even informing them of our flight arrival time. However, when we arrived by taxi, the hotel was closed. The taxi driver and local merchants called and asked around, but the hotel was still closed. We waited for about an hour before finally booking another hotel with cash and arriving at our new accommodation after 2 a.m. This was the first day of my trip, and it was very late. The hotel and Booking.com, which brokered this, should not only refund me the accommodation, but also take responsibility for the voucher and the cost of the accommodation I booked so suddenly in the early morning.

Good sized room with private shower and garden. Located very close to ferry port and a few nice beaches. Staff were really friendly and helpful! If you are landing late and need to check in after closing time then message them for airport pick up and they will sort you a taxi!

Lovely

We stayed one night to be close to the boat for Gili islands. Room was very safe with two doors to access. Felt very cozy. Has everything you need, kettle with tea / coffee, private shower/ bathroom, bed was comfortable. Was quiet road. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We had dinner (tomato soup and bread) which was actually so good and so cheap. Really ticked all the boxes considering we just wanted something close to the boats. Would stay again.

Disclaimer: We were taken to a different hotel on the same road as the Zen Inn as we had a late arriving flight into Denpasar airport. Nonetheless, this hotel was well located for our purposes of getting the early ferry to Gili Air the next morning. Had a decent breakfast (included) and a comfy bed. Friendly staff helped us with our travel plans. Nice restaurant nearby as well.

The shower was very weak and had variable temperature, sometimes it was very hot and other times it was very cold. The property was not very clean, specifically the bathroom and the bedding was a bit stained (had been washed but didn’t come out) but nothing was a deal breaker. One thing to note is that we were forced to use their taxi for late check in - helpful to streamline our arrival but maybe a bit overpriced if you’re familiar with Bali.

Great location if you’re heading to the Gili Islands, but the noise and poor breakfast were disappointing.

• The location is ideal, especially if you’re planning to travel further to the Gili Islands — the harbor is within walking distance. • The place was clean. • The equipment/facilities were decent.

• The walls were extremely thin — I could hear everything from the neighboring room and the music from the restaurant. • The blanket was just a thin sheet; a thicker one would be better. • Breakfast was very poor. There were almost no options — no espresso or eggs. The “continental breakfast” was just some jam and butter with old bread put in a toaster.

Perfect spot for passing through if you’re catching a ferry to the islands. The staff are very helpful.

The location was extremely convenient for getting on ferry. It was very clean and quaint.

The aircon was broken and the bathroom sink clogged. But the staff did everything they could to try get the aircon fixed. They even booked us an alternative hotel to move to but it was late at night and so they found a fan to atleast get some air moving in the room.

The lady was very kind and helpful, I definitely recommend this hotel! The rooms are even nicer in real life — I loved it. Everything was very clean and the food was great. Super convenient if you’re taking the boat the next day, as the hotel is right on the port.

Good for one night before getting the ferry

Very close to the ferry port, gili gili ferry office and great restaurant at the end of the road Clean and functional, perfect for a stop over before getting the ferry, one night is fine. First place I didn't get bitten! And great Aircon.

Linen looked so thin and mattress looked very old but was actually very comfortable. Towels are not absorbent which was annoying, I think they're using too much fabric conditioner Tv didn't work but wasn't an issue for me Not a lot of help with luggage

Clean accommodation in very central location. Bed was comfortable, lots of pillows. Own private backyard. Good water pressure in the shower. Interestingly there is a DVD players with selection of films in the room for your extra entertainment. Basic breakfast in the restaurant next door

What a find! Such a warm welcome. An overnight stay in two self contained pristine rooms each with all the facilities you could want and a sweet patio area. Such a lot of thought and care has gone into the Zen Inn. Breakfast included in the price. Short walking distance from the harbour. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Awesome quirky accommodations. Inside plus outside shower in a private courtyard. Amazing staff, very helpful and we were able to extend our stay when the fast boats were cancelled, very good breakfast banana pancake. We had veggie meals at papa johns along the road.
