Had a great stay here for our two day distillery tour. Hotel was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. Food and bar was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful - Iain was awesome! He helped us get our room straight and with the bus schedule. It has everything that you’ll need for the evening which is great one the buses stop @ 5 pm and taxis are pretty expensive.

Couldn’t fault the staff or the facilities. Really comfy beds, the best shower I have ever come across and great food.
Would recommend booking directly as the hotel didn’t have our phone number - they wanted to get in touch with us before we went to warn us of 2 noisy Christmas parties happening. The first party did affect us but the staff went out of their way and moved us into a room as far away from the noise as possible the next night at no extra cost.
Nothing was too much for them.
The hotel is in the centre of the island and very convenient for Bowmore. There is a shop and petrol pump across the road. I got to go for a lovely walk in woods very close by.
I would definitely go there again.

We had a decent stay overall. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere of the place was quite nice. The garden was lovely and added a peaceful touch to the experience.
The female manager with short hair was very nice and helpful – she was definitely a highlight of the service.
That said, there were a few issues. The bathroom was very small, and the bathtub was quite slippery, so you have to be careful when showering. The ceiling also had some mold, and parts of the plaster were starting to peel – this really needs attention.
Overall, we felt the place was overpriced for what it offers. While the vibe is pleasant, it simply didn’t feel worth the money.
