Good location into Clecy , everything you need for a few days , nice balcony plus garden area to sit in the sunshine .( which we had )

the location can not be better. it’s a 2 minute easy walk down to the river side where all the restaurants are, and a 3 minute drive to the town to shop for food and fresh bakery. there is a large living room, dining room, 2 large bedrooms, modern bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the river a short distance below.

The gite is part of a converted building and has a fairly large shared communal garden where you can sit outside. It is easy to walk into the town centre or down to the river. The kitchen is a bit dated but perfectly serviceable, the rest of the apartment has been updated.

We thought the curtains in the bedroom were not good at keeping the light out - not realising about the shutters until the end of our stay!

Excellent location, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Beautiful views and lovely walks near by. Even though we were out of season we still managed to find enough restaurants to eat out on 3 occasions. The local logis was exceptional.

A little cold in the evening but there were plenty of blankets provided.

Almost perfect gite in a lovely town. Close to the river and town centre. Lovely gardens and parking on site. Really good value for money. I would recommend this to anyone. Lovely Pauline looked after us so well.

One toilet through the sofa bedroom means people walking though your bedroom in the night. Putting in another toilet in the shower room would make the gite totally perfect.

Clecy 2019 weekend

Lovely little one bed gite with great location. We've been to Clecy for many years and would definitely go back to stay here. The owners were lovely, friendly and allowed us an early check in which was appreciated

The instructions for the electric cooker didn't have an English section so that would be helpful in future as only 2 hobs to cook with

The photos on Booking.com are all of the stone gite which we assumed we had booked. In fact we were told we had booked the chalet which in a separate building. Comfortable but not what we had expected. The wbsite is misleading and should be corrected.

Magnifique endroit très bien situé

L'emplacement, le gîte en lui même, le cadre, l'équipement du gîte au top, la disponibilité et la gentillesse de l'hôte.

Le supplément pour les draps et serviettes que je trouve un peu cher. Le ménage : ayant séjourné moins de 24h, nous n'avions utilisé que la cuisine, mais visiblement le ménage standard n'était pas suffisant. Vraiment le seul petit bémol du séjour

Le forfait draps/serviettes pourrait être inclus dans le prix. Le matelas du lit double dans la chambre plus petite est fatigué. Et ce lit serait plus confortable sans pied de lit, pour les personnes de plus d'1,80m.

Vraiment dommage

Nous avons apprécié le charme de cette belle demeure dans son parc et jardin , malheureusement pas trop bien entretenus . La situation, le petit balcon , le chant des oiseaux .

Nous n’avons pas du tout apprécié les 50 € supplémentaires demandés pour le ménage à moins de le faire soi-même. Il y avait en effet aspirateur , balais et serpillières à foison. Dommage , cela vous donne l’impression d’être un pigeon ... Le gîte était surchargé, , les tapisseries d’époque commencent à se décoller ... Le sèche-cheveux manquait au rendez-vous.

Excellent séjour dans une belle longère idéalement située

Nous avons tous été enthousiasmés par le gîte de la Petite Suisse. Il est idéalement situé entre le centre-ville de Clécy (accessible en quelques minutes) et la rivière de l'Orne (accessible en quelques minutes via un petit chemin qui borde la propriété). Cela nous a permis de faire l'essentiel de nos balades et sorties sans prendre la voiture. La maison a énormément de charme avec ses poutres apparentes et ses cheminées. Nous avons très bien dormi grâce à l'excellente literie et au calme. Le gîte dispose d'un jardin où on peut prendre ses repas (BBQ) et le nôtre avait aussi un grand balcon donnant vers l'Orne. On peut se garer dans le jardin, qui est très grand. Le système de codes pour accéder à la maison et aux clés fonctionne très bien et permet de venir à toute heure. Hôtesse très aimable et réactive.

Le gîte est une longère divisée en maisons mitoyennes qui ont chacune leur petit jardin. Autrement dit le terrain se compose devant chaque "maison" d'une petite terrasse équipée, séparée des autres par la végétation. Ces terrasses ne sont donc pas clôturées, ce qui fait aussi leur charme. Cela n'était pas un problème pour nous, mais peut l'être pour quelqu'un qui a un animal de compagnie.
