A senior living and rental place with spacious rooms

Highlights: + If you want to have a place that is close to the main areas where restaurants and businesses are, this is the right place. + It is spacious and very quiet. + The balcony is a nice addition and can be enjoyed even in the fall. + There is parking on the street and even across the way; just make sure you are aware of any signs or residential reserved parking. + In the bathroom, the shower is great and there is a heated towel rack. + You can ask for an iron at the reception, they are very nice.

Lowlights: - You need to be aware that this a mixed-use facility. What we mean by that is that some of the units are for retired people and some are for vacationers. - Our corridor has a strange smell due to the carpet but the unit was fine. - We tried to use their wifi but it was so slow due to the very weak connection, we even when we tried it in the corridor next to the router or repeater, nothing. So we just used data. - The kitchen items are sparse. There were no covers for our pots and pans (only two) and the hot plate heated up really, really slowly. There is no salt, pepper or olive oil like in the other places we have rented out. There is a very small amount of dish liquid and no paper towels. Tip: Bring your tissues too. You can ask the reception dor more when they are available, but you have to pay even if youbatay multiple nights. - The sheers in our unit on the 3rd floor would not fully close and were detached on one side. - One of our shades that closes at night did not go down all the way so this was a bit annoying in the morning. - The bathroom does not have any shampoo, just a few extra small soaps. Tip: Bring your own. - As far as coffee goes, even if you stay multiple days, you will have to pay 60 euro cents for additional pods. No biggie.

Lovely if unusual environment for a holiday stay in a great location and a lovely dog called Giles.

Clean, excellent location and lovely building with a beautiful fog called Giles to greet us as we arrived!

Not much thought had gone into furnishing the apartment in terms of what people would need to be comfortable. Would have benefitted from armchairs in the dining area instead of a spare bed that was far too big to use comfortably as a sofa. A mirror in the bedroom and again perhaps a couple of chairs and a chest of drawers or dressing table. Apart from a bed and bedside tables, the bedroom had no other furniture, nor did it have a curtain, so that shutters had to be used during the day for privacy, as the unit was very much overlooked. It was not made plain when booking that this is a retirement home - very luxurious and beautiful, but nonetheless...

Great location in Tourville sur Mer. Probably 10 mins max walk from the train and bus station. Spotless, great AirCon, heated towel rail, great shower, comfortable bed and fully secured. Kitchen was basic yet more than sufficient.

Very small negatives: no access to an iron or ironing board.

It was a surprise to realise I had checked my family into a village for older people, (I missed that when booking, or it was lost in translation). However, the location, cleanliness and spacious apartment were fantastic for our short stay.

Very good

The location is near the train station of Deauville/ Trouville thus on a short walking distance to explore both Trouville and Deauville. If you have a car, you can park it in front of the villa for free. The appartment is clean and spacious (great for 4 persons)

The breakfast was fair, not rich but enough. The appartment is on the highest point of a slope so if you have old or disabled people with you and no car it might be a little bit difficult.

Deuxième très agréable séjour à la Villa Médicis de Trouville sur mer très bien situé par rapport au centre ville, appartement spacieux avec balcon et vue. La gentillesse du personnel de l'accueil.

Appartement faiblement chauffé malgré réglages du thermostat. L'éclairage sous l'évier ne fonctionnait pas, situation identique à l'année précédente dans le même appartement! Peu d'ustensiles de cuisine.

Appartement plutôt grand, propre et conforte à la description. Accueil agréable, résidence bien entretenue et calme à quelques minutes à pied du centre.

Juste un peu plus de vaisselle et voir aussi pour le matelas du canapé convertible un peu plus épais pour gagner en confort.
