It was better than nowhere to stay ..

It was great that the Host allowed us to check in late at 21:00 as the property we originally booked with Booking.com was found vandalised when we arrived.

The toilet flush did not work as it was taking almost an hour to fill following a flush. We had to remove the lid of the flush tank and fill water using a bottle to flush. The stair carpet was coming off at a few places with nails sticking out. We carefully walked up and down and made our kids aware of this. Flooring panels were lifting off at places. The stove wouldn't light up as the ignition button was broken. We managed with a lighter.

the bed were comfortable

the house stank of cigarette smoke, big pile of fag buts outside the back door. the general state of the house is tatty, the stair case is dangerous with broken steps and sharp bits sticking through the tatty carpet, the toilet takes 20 minutes to fill up so you have to flush it with the mop bucket, only one toilet roll so you will have to buy some before you stay, the kitchen is badly equipped, the hot water reached over 70 degrees celsius and one or our party burned his hand so very dangerous especially if you have children. we used the washing machine and there was a can of deodorant left in it and we are lucky it didn't explode. we stayed here because we were working in the city but if I was here for a holiday or with my family I would have been straight out the door, I would give it the rating of a bit of a dump with three slop out buckets not stars

Clean, good beds and bedding. Convenient location. Big bathroom.

Kitchen was minimally equipped. One of the sofas was broken and there were no other chairs. Parking close by was difficult at the weekend. Bathroom opens directly into the living room.

Disappointing

Bed was comfortable bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean good shower.

Tired looking property needs painting. Sofa uncomfortable no support. Floor dirty in kitchen and living room. Toaster had food on outside of it and cheese grater had bits of cheese in it etc. When I stripped off quilt cover after stay as instructed the quilt was old and gray ripped and stained with what looked like blood and bodily fluids.

Location is great! The house could do with some extra loving

The location was superb! Quick access to large superstores and the city centre. Free parking was available and we had 3 cars which was great.

The place seems to be neglected as there is mould in the bathroom and behind the sofas. The sliding door for the bedroom in the living room were difficult to operate due to stiffness. We ended up pulling the door out of place trying to close it! There is also something sharp under the staircase carpet on one of the steps which is a hazard. Difficult to share one bathroom between 9 people!
