It is perfect getaway. Amazing views and serenity. Elsa is the best host ever. It is near to the Porto and same time totally secluded. You can see and feel Elsas touch in every step - most of the furniture and decorations, self made or renovated. Really sweet and beautiful. We had two private pools and two terraces with a view to the river. Everything so green around you. Kitchen is very well equipped (even 3 different options to make coffee :)). When we arrived, we were greeted by a wonderful and generous spread on the kitchen table – it was almost like being welcomed with a dinner!

From the moment we arrived at Elsa’s beautiful holiday home, we felt so comfortable. Not only is the setting magnificent but the warmth and welcome we received was incredible. Freshly baked pasteis de nata with a wonderful bottle of port greeted us. Everything in the home is as pictured and is even more beautiful than you can imagine. We were blessed with glorious weather so were lucky enough to take advantage of the pristine private pool. Our every last need was attended to, for example at the pool there were beach towels, loungers, and fantastic cooking facilities including a barbecue - all so perfect that we didn’t have to go down to the house to get forks or knives or glasses or anything for the kitchen and could spend our whole day relaxing poolside. The patio on the house offered incredible views of the Douro river and we loved watching the boats and rowers pass by. It is a very peaceful place and we could totally relax and enjoy the scenery. Throughout our stay as some personal challenges arose, Elsa was there to support us in every way with advice and a personalised courier service. Moreover she kindly spoiled us on the various occasions we had come to celebrate. Do not hesitate at all to visit this five-star property and experience.
