It was a very interesting house and a great location. I loved sitting in the indoor atrium every morning having tea. Grocery store is five minutes away. Kitchen met all our needs. The power issue was not a problem at all. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the books and games. The host was very patient as I struggled with trying to communicate with him!
A knife sharpener would have been nice.

How we enjoyed the lovely renovation of this vintage property. The owner answered our questions about everything, immediately every time. Has all the amenities, washer/dryer/dishwasher. Happy to find towels galore, too!! The location is perfect, very close to the tourist areas, but in the heart where actual locals live. We loved that we were part of the daily bustle with the Portuguese. The pictures of this property are spot on… A TOTAL VACATION RETREAT!
The three of us had no issues.
