In a small area, you can get in touch with a CULTURE mix, thanks to the diversity of commerce in the area and specialized stores.
Within a radius of 5 km it is possible to visit the historic and centenary LIVRARIA LELLO and one of the most BEAUTIFUL Mc Donald’s in the WORLD, located in an old bank, on Avenida dos ALIADOS. If you want to explore more, stop by the famous BENTO STATION, once a Convent, where you can take a tourist TRAIN and discover the beautiful LANDSCAPES on the banks of the Douro River
To drink some COCKTAILS with your traveling companions, you can go to the most famous BOHEMIAN streets, the Galleries of Paris that earn LIFE after 11pm. It has several BARS of different styles, so you can try each one, from fado, pop, rock and 80's.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located in a street full of commerce around. With an excellent pastry shop next door for breakfast and La Vie Shopping Center where traditional Porto marketers are selling fresh and typical products from the city.
There is also the Letraria pub next door excellent for a late afternoon craft beer on the back patio and Poveiros Square with great restaurants of typical Portuguese cuisine at the price of residents who escape the typical tourism which is just a few meters away.
At the time of São João, in June, and New Year the whole city comes to life. Join the residents and have a unique experience!
Getting Around:
Metro station - Bolhao is the nearest one, just 3 minutes away by foot from the apartment.

- Check-in starts at 3pm and ends at midnight - after that time, a fee of €15 will be charged.
- Check-outs end at 11 am; after that time, you will be charged a midnight fee and if you want to check out after 2 pm, you will be charged a full night.
- If you need a baby cot, we can provide one for 39€.
- Would you like your pet's company? You can bring it with you for an additional charge to be returned in full at the end of your stay if there is no damage (200€).
- The tourist tax in Porto has a cost of 3 euros per night per person, up to 7 nights (already included in the reservation fee).

A great, clean, and centrally located apartment to stay at. Wonderful lofted apartments, bright and light filled living room, and plenty of clean bathrooms to stay at.

Very clean and spacious apartment. It had plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out and relax. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location was great. It is very close to Bolhao market, the metro, plenty of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. It has a washing machine and a clever laundry rack that is lowered from the ceiling in a sunny airy room. It worked very well drying clothes. Communication was prompt and self check-in was very easy. We would definitely book this apartment again.

Lovely residence and great location. Travelers should note that the ceilings are low in all bedrooms, about 5’10 or possibly 6’.

We were a group of 8. Location was perfect for us. The apartment was clean and very unique with the layout of beds/bathrooms but it worked just fine. The only complaint was the communication with the Host. I received an email with the wrong dates of stay and asking if we wanted linens and towels for extra charge. I thought it was all included and panic when I saw the dates were incorrect. Since it was maybe a month before check in date, I contacted the Host. No reply. Tried several times via the website, nothing. Ended up contacting VRBO to intercede for me and they stated that it was a legit reservation and the dates that we had were correct. Again, no contact from Host. About 2 days prior to check in, we got an email stating the procedures to check in. We followed the instructions but they were incorrect. The keys were not in the box as instructed. We called the Host, and again nothing. Eventually, we found the keys in the box at the apartment upstairs. Communication was very lacking to say the least. Everything else was perfect. The building has a lift but to get to any of the beds, you have to climb stairs. All the beds are in a loft style. If you are tall, you will hit your head in the lofts. We did use the sofa bed which was in the kitchen area and it was very comfy. Liked I said, it worked for us.
