Perfect stay in Placencia

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment on the first floor. Check in and check out were super easy. The apartment is spacoius and beautiful with all of the amenities we could have needed, including a full kitchen and separate living room area. The screened patio was a great bonus and included a couple of sitting areas, a hammock, and even a clothesline for wet towels and swimsuits. The owners also left helpful information about the area in a guide book for their guests. And an adorable, friendly kitty hangs out by the pool sometimes.

You can't flush toilet paper there, but I think that is common for the area. They provide a covered can in the bathroom with plenty of refill bags.

Perfect place to stay!

Driftwood is a perfect place to stay in Placencia. The room is set up perfect and has everything you need, desk, dishes; wine cups and screen in seating area. Free bikes to use! Wifi was fantastic and owners so lovely.

We stayed in the Studio and it was perfect for us as a couple. The property is very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the pool and it was close to the store and restaurants nearby. Exceptional value.

We had a wonderful time here!

The hosts had thought of everything. We had all we needed and more. The mosquito-net-covered private courtyard was a wonderful place to hang out in the evenings. The flat is very comfy and well equiped. It's close to the main attractions in Placencia. The pool is great. I can't recommend this highly enough.

We loved our stay here. The studio was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were great. The property had a lovely vibe and the pool was a great way to cool off at the end of the day. There were free bikes to use and a supermarket across the road. It was the perfect location for us.

Bed was terrific, huge king. Full kitchen and in a great location. Host was incredibly accommodating to our charge in arrival date due to flight changes that added 2more days onto our stay.

A fantastic location, and because of the amount of shade and greenery. It was cooler than other places. Very important! Extremely kind, welcoming and organized. Everything that you could need was included, and then some. Well, equipped kitchen, clothesline, sparkling, clean pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Placencia Village. Sunrise and Sunset (covered) decks on 2nd Floor 2Bdrm unit. LOVED the hammock…and the small pool!

Placencia Road is pretty busy/noisy at times, can’t be helped cuz convenience of close in location.

Across the street from the main walking zone

The lady I spoke with was very nice and had everything clean and comfortable. The pool on the property was great. And shower was very nice.

I thought I booked a room with a bigger bed and the pillows were really flat. I also thought no one else was staying there for some reason, so I didn't expect other people at the pool with us. Other than that it was a great location and place to stay for the price!

The apartment is so nice and spacious. The beds are massive and very comfortable. The pool was perfect temperature and the owners that live above were very helpful. Wi-Fi was also great. Cannot recommend enough.

We loved staying at the Driftwood Gardens guesthouse--clean, spacious with a PERFECT location!

The location was perfect. They are right across the street from the beach, boardwalk, shops and restaurants. We borrowed their beach chairs & towels and lounged on the beach, sat by their pool, rode their bikes to Turtle Inn for dinner, walked up & down the boardwalk/beach and enjoyed every minute. We traveled with our 2 adult children and appreciated that we could rent the main floor with 2 rooms and also the studio downstairs so we could each have our own space. It was safe to drink the tap water which was a bonus. The kitchen & bathroom had plenty of counter space and everything we needed. The balcony & decks have hammocks, tables, chairs and several places to relax in the shade of their palm trees. Phil & Megan who live on the top floor were so sweet & answered all of our questions. They also created a booklet on the coffee table with important information about the area as well as a list of their favorite restaurants. We tried several of them and especially loved Tutti Frutti gelato, Barefoot Bar, and Tipsy Tuna. We highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay in Placencia. People are friendly and we always felt safe.

The location is walking distance to both the lagoon and the ocean - also close to all the restaurants. Our room had a very nice screened in porch. The room was on the first floor but all the windows had decorative bars which made you feel safe leaving open and/or sleeping with them open. Very nice stove and refrigerator if you want to cook. Nice pool to cool off. Bikes are available. Nice walk in shower. Very friendly owners live on site. Reasonably priced.

Great location right in the center of Placencia, Belize. We stayed in the one bedroom and it was fully equipped with everything we needed for our week long stay. The unit had much needed air conditioning units in both the living room and bedroom. There was grocery store across the street and all of our tours/expeditions started from a company located right next door. This is an awesome location with restaurants, bars and beach all in throwing distance.

The location was excellent as it was close to everything (bars, restaurants, supermarket) and within walking distance. It was very comfortable and it had everything that you needed in the kitchen. The homemade sourdough bread was a nice surprise! I definitely would stay here again.

It was advertised as an apartment thinking it was more spacious than it was. And I thought it was on the beach but that was my fault. Shower did not have hot water it was Luke warm.

A pleasant and enjoyable place to stay in Placencia.

The staff were wonderful. We enjoyed the free bikes so that we could get around the village quickly. There was a grocery store right across the street. Sitting by the pool was very relaxing and pleasant.

We chose the studio room and were sorry we didn't get a large unit. It was quite small. I would stay again but would get something larger for sure.
