Great value for the money and I recommend staying there- bring your own pillow if you can.

The location was perfect- slightly set back from the street so there wasn't much traffic noise. It was a quick walk to the beach and all of the restaurants. The owner, Chris, welcomed me when I checked in and was very personable and accommodating. I enjoyed the kitchenette area and communal sitting/eating spaces. The room was a very comfortable size and had a new A/C unit that worked really well to cool the room.

Placencia is a very humid place which makes the air both outside and inside sticky. I don't fault the owners for that, but it did mean the A/C needed to run constantly to make the room comfortable. The biggest drawback was that it gave the linens and bedding a really dank and musty smell.
