Easy, clean, accommodating

It's right on the beach, walking distance to everything. The space had a nice front porch & AC, beds were fine so we slept well. The folks there were friendly & helpful in answering questions. We had sargassum seaweed take over the beach so we didn't use it but they had pool passes to the beach club that picked us up by golf cart & we all loved our chill time there, especially the kids.

The decor wasn't easy beach comfort. The lighting was either too bright or too dark & the flow with doors to bedroom & bathroom were cumbersome (one blocked the other if open). It's fine if you're out all day (like most people) but if you're looking for a place to hang, mingle with other guests during the day, this doesn't feel like the place for that.

Quiet and Serenity with a Beautiful View!

The location was perfect. Easy walk to many good places to eat and live entertainment. The breakfast available each day was wonderful. Would highly recommend staying at the Belizean Nirvana to anyone vacationing in Placencia.

We truly appreciated how much Barbara, Evan, and the rest of the staff made us feel right at home!

Barbara and Evan, owners of the property, were very informative and accommodating. The staff were truly kind and helpful when we needed anything. The room we booked was the one bedroom deluxe suite ocean front- named the “Namaste”. It had a full kitchen, dining area, and spacious living room. There were two full baths; one in the bedroom. The bedroom was very spacious and the suite itself was large for my husband and I. From the bedroom, there is a door that leads to the balcony and the balcony can be accessed through double doors from the living room which overlooks the ocean.

Nice place but we found a cockroach.

The issue was the owner. We drove from San Ignacio so didn’t know our timing. We were early by about an hour. He lectured and scolded us. Ridiculous. Such a bad start. His worker was cutting weeds and a rock hit the back windshield of our car - in his secure parking lot. He never acknowledged or apologized at all. Just could have been so much kinder. Really rude owner. Staff was lovely.

Everything was great! The location was perfect. The room had everything we needed. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. I talked to other tourists while in Placencia and none of them seemed to have better accomodations than Belizean Nirvana.

Wonderful place for single families with children or couples

The owners greeted us at the airport with a wonderful driver. Levi brought us to the resort. Carolyn, led us into a beautiful spacious room with every thing we needed for our stay. The service was fantastic. The food was fantastic. It’s very quiet, clean and comfortable resort. We will be back. Thank you Barbara and family!!!

Great place to stay, would stay here again.

Beautiful setting, right on the water, room and outdoor areas super clean. Breakfast served upstairs on rooftop deck, very nice. Right in town so walkable to everything. Kayaks for guests was a bonus.

Sargassum was a bit of an issue but didn't stop us from getting in the water. No fault of property, just an issue for the Caribbean.

Friendly, pleasant atmosphere with the a beautiful view!

It was a lovely place to stay for a few leisurely days in Placencia Village. Very pleasant staff, nice size clean, and modern rooms all with balconies overlooking the ocean just a few feet away. The owner came over to chat with us at breakfast and talked about the village, the weather, the sargassum, everything we needed to know to make our stay better. The location is the best in the village for tours and restaurants.

It was pleasant .

Room was nice and the bed comfortable. The front patio with comfy chairs and a great view. A bit of a walk to the main road not to easy for us because of some disabilities hadn’t realized that at booking .

Nirvana was on the best portion of the beach, great terrace, super clean, and the staff cleared the debris from the waterline daily. Be sure to visit Kendra's Kitchen nearby for great home cooked Belizian food.

Beautiful few days in Placencia.

Rooftop patio was great. Beach immaculate. Staff was beyond amazing. Filtered drinkable tap water on all taps!?! Parking is offsite but super acceptable and safe! The norm in Placencia really!

Superb

Perfect location, lovely place ,lovely people people. we started in Hibiscus - only problem was no closet, minimal drawers and small bathroom. Moved to Namaste which was wonderful!!!

Best Location and people to stay with in Placencia

Best location in Placencia. So quite and peaceful. Literally on the beach and short walking distance to bars, restaurant, trips from the pier. The free bicycles and kayaks were great to get about on too. Breakfast was great too. Staff were super helpful and commutative. They also dropped us at the airport on the last day with the free shuttle.
