We liked the village location, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Lots of character and history with the Bell Inn, the well in the bar being a bit of a focal point. Food was really good too and the rooms were nice and clean.
You have to appreciate that you are staying in a pub and to expect a little noise in your room if you go up early. The noise settles as the pub empties out. It didn't bother us too much but others may not like it.
We would have liked somewhere to hang clothes.

Breakfast first day good. Location good.
Breakfast greedy second day. No hanging space for clothes in the room. Wood rot on frame window and worried when opening it.
