Borgo Vergini Garden B&B

The rooms are clean, there is free ac and free coffee + snacks, the garden is really nice. The breakfast, although there wasn’t many options (which is good for someone who has trouble picking), was good and fresh. The staff is lovely and super helpful and go out if their way to help out with everything needed even when they don’t need to which is added bonus.

I did very minimal research on the location because it was booked in a rush, and the location wasn’t our favourite but it is close to metro so not really complaining.

A cozy guesthouse with kind staff, well located close to two metros and within easy walking distance to the Archaeological Museum.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It has a charming, slightly rustic character that we really liked. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they went above and beyond by decorating our room with balloons and a birthday banner before our arrival, which was a wonderful surprise. The courtyard was a lovely relaxing space, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Guests could also help themselves to drinks, including beer and soft drinks, using the honesty box system, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was clean, and there was a nice little breakout space in the hallway with a coffee machine and sofa. The room's mini fridge was also handy to have. Breakfast was good, mainly with a selection of pastries, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and juice. However there was also a sandwich toaster available for anyone wanting a hot breakfast option. The staff even provided breakfast-to-go bags for early excursions if requested, which was great. As we were arriving late, we arranged an airport taxi transfer through the hotel, and the service was excellent. There is also a great pizza place across the street for a late night meal.

The area is a little sketchy especially at night, which we expected, but we didn't feel unsafe. Just be aware of your surroundings. The hotel's courtyard provides a nice bit of escapism away from the hustle and bustle.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with planning days out, and on days when we had booked excursions earlier than breakfast was available they made sandwiches for us and delivered them to the room the night before. I would highly recommend staying here, less than 10 mins walk to the archeological museum and a lovely garden to relax in after a busy day sightseeing.
