Good and comfortable stay

Great property, same as described. Very clean, comfortable and right opposite the beach front. They have a decent collection of video cds and books to keep everyone engaged. Location is good too.

Two reasons I yanked off 1 point from the rating: 1. No dishwasher in the modern kitchen which would be ideal as had come for short stay and don’t prefer to spend time doing dishes 2. No WiFi and very poor cell service in the area making it difficult to get reliable internet access.

Perfect cozy family stay

Big open space, great for families with children. Well equiped with books, dvds, board games and anything you may need during the stay. Great location with a beach across the road and a shop nearby. Comfy proper beds and couches, very clean. Owner very helpful, kept in touch throught the stay.

Excellent apartment, Everything pristine, very well equipped for home from home living. Quality very good. Host checked that all our needs were met. Location perfect sea view access to beach. Local eateries, Spar shop close well stocked. Great base for N Ireland coastal travel.

A comfy apartment near the beach, ideal for exploring the Ards and North Down

Comfortable apartment very close to the lovely beach, harbour and coastal walks. Handy to have a Spa shop a few doors away, a pub opposite that, and parking right outside the back door. Sharon kindly checked to see if we had settled in ok, and left a generous welcome pack of goodies. There was a comprehensive collection of information leaflets and help sheets.

The lack of free WiFi made us think twice about staying longer, especially as there was little or no mobile data signal in there. Considering the apartment could sleep 5, a dishwasher would have been preferable to a washing machine, especially as the current washing machine did not spin clothes adequately.

Very highly recommended

Wonderful, spacious apartment. Very clean. Cosy and warm. Very well equipped. Great comms from a lovely host who went the extra mile. Sleep quality was very good. A couple of minutes walk from a lovely harbour, beach, restaurant, another bar/restaurant, mini supermarket, cafe, church, tennis courts, and park.

Mobile phone reception/4G was a little tricky, but we got by and obviously beyond hosts control.. We decided to pay a few pounds to get a BT hotspot for the week, which kept our whatsapp and emails moving over Christmas.

Brilliant holiday apartment!

Brilliant situation. Clean beach, shop and eating places close by, in a pretty village. Well placed for visiting the Ards Peninsula but also close to Belfast. The modern apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. Communication with the owner was efficient and very friendly. Would certainly recommend.

The only downside to this apartment is that there is no internet connection (as outlined in the apartment information) and mobile reception is not fantastic. However, this may be a plus if you want to 'get away from it all'!

Spacious, airy and comfortable accommodation in a great location for exploring County Down Beds were very comfortable, well equipped and lovely personal welcome

A fantastic little property. Exceptionally clean. Lots of facilities (books, dvds, tennis racquets etc). Great location opposite lovely little beach.

Only thing missing is WiFi, but it's clearly advertised that there is none so you can't complain.

Beautiful apartment and great location.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The welcome tray was a lovely touch, thank you. There is no WiFi at the property which we were aware of before arrival but it would have been great to have it. I guess we could have found a BT hotspot if really needed. The host Sharon was so helpful and we will definitely return.

Our only point is the WiFi. Everything else was perfect!!
