Pretty studio, tastefully decorated, very practical and convenient. Had everything I needed.

Loved the decor and facilities. Lovely and quiet during the night and morning. So central and in walking distance to some great cafés, restaurants and historical sights.

Early evening you can hear some chatter as people pass by especially at the weekend, so If sensitive to noise like me and staying in, just bring ear plugs (or put music on). Mind you, should emphasis after closing time, it's lovely and quiet :)

Used to noise, but the noise at this place…wow…

In the old part of town.

The noise…. I know it’s an old building in city center. Me and my girlfriend are used to sleeping in very VERY loud and noisy places. Furthermore, we always sleep with earplugs… but this noisy was new to us. It’s like sleeping inside of a busy pub. The windows seem to be made out of thin paper or something. So unless you are always the last person to leave the club/pub, or simply don’t care about a good nights rest,.. I would not stay here. Furthermore, the coffee machine was broken. Instead of fixing it, first a lot of questions were asked and I needed to email a video to show that it was not working (whilst the problem was quite obvious and easily described). Since I was on holidays it was a bit too much effort. It’s not what you want to be dealing with on holidays. Finally, we did not have water for some hours in the entire appartment and communication on steps taken to fix the issue was lacking.

We really enjoyed our stay in the centre of old time charm and the hustle and bustle of modern life.

The location of this property is perfect....in the centre of old Lyon. There are many great restaurants, bars and bakeries in the area. As well as small grocery shops with all the essentials. The property's beautiful interior is a bonus! The host was very friendly, although we never met anyone, all the information was given and communication was perfect.

There was nothing we disliked. Just a note for people who struggle to walk, there are many stairs to climb as it is in a lovely old building. The noise from nearby bars and restaurants might be disturbing for some people.

Don't book this during potential heatwave times.

The accomodation was clean enough and in a nice location.

The appartment was infernally hot, and no good ways to cool it down. There were two fans, of which the other one was dangerous, with the fan blade cover not in place. The appartment is probably fine in autumn or spring, but I would not go here during summer months, as if there's a heat wave, the nights are awful.

It’s not clean. Area rugs can be cleaned better. Staff were not helpful regarding luggage storage. No AC so it was not easy for a hot summer day.

Apartment was in a great position in relation to restaurants and bars; comfortable accommodation.

The location and the age of the building was spectacular.

We had no wifi until we were leaving which was difficult to organise times for our ongoing trip.

Great location - could've had better services and temperature.

We shared this with the property managers. Most importantly was the temperature of the flat - they didn't have air conditioning or adequate fans that really worked to cool down the place. So, it was a miserably hot place to stay. There were no directions for the TV or washer/dryer usage. There were no adequate bath towels -- just a bunch of small, face towels. Even when requested we didn't get any. Overall while the location is superb, the flat is really fit for 2 people.....and desperately needs air conditioning.

Location is v good.

Location was absolutely perfect.

The place wasn't clean. In fact it was really dirty. The agency did offer to send staff to clean later but we didn't want them in with our bags open and we didn't want to waste time sitting and watching so we refused. And the bed gave me a back ache. There was no Soap, shampoo, cooking oil. Just stuff that one expects in apartments now.

Good

The apartment was very nicely decorated and equipped with everything you could need for a long weekend. The location was very good to access by foot all areas of Lyon.

As it's so central the apartment is just above a number of restaurant and bars making very noisy during the evening/nights of the weekend - if you are a light sleeper this might be a problem as I struggled to sleep. The place was very dusty.

Lovely stay in Lyon.

There were a few minor points for improvement that we shared with the manager, but nothing to prevent us staying again.

Fantastic location, right in the old town with immediate access to restaurants, bars and cafés. We were greeted by an English speaking local who was very friendly. The facilities in the apartment were very good. The bed was comfortable and the flat was spacious for a couple.

The apartment was very homey and comfortable. You had 2 options for the bed, the bed and the sofa bed. Both were very comfortable. It was such a nice, sweet apartment good enough for a few days trip. The apartment is at the center which is very near to all the attraction sites and restaurants which we were able to visit in just 2 days.

Not the right experience

The location was amazing, right in the center of Vieux Lyon, and the apartment was furnished in a really cute way! Also, the internet was really fast.

First of all, we were without hot water for 3 days, and they took so long to answer us and fix the problem. As soon as we enter, we noticed how dirty the apartment was, there was dust in every corner and spiderwebs all over the walls. Also, the floor was very dirty. After they fix the hot water problem, we noticed that both the bathroom sink and shower were completely clogged. In the kitchen, there was no freezer, just a small fridge. Last but not least, we had to spend the last week in the company of a MOUSE who would come out from under the kitchen every time and go around the apartment. I wrote the owners but we never got a response. For the hot water, they said they would have given back the money for one night but we still got nothing. They should take better care of the apartment and hire a new cleaning lady!

Good location but that had its drawbacks. Comfortably furnished but we were there on a weekend when it was exceptionally hot. Maybe better in cooler weather

The washing machine was out of order and could not be used. Located in Lyon Vieux but extremely noisy until 2-3am most nights even Monday. The bathroom needed a really good clean.

Ein paar schöne Tage in Lyon

Die Lage in Vieux Lion ist sehr gut, in der Nähe von allem, Bars und Restaurants direkt bei der Wohnung. Was natürlich auch bedeutet, dass es nachts laut werden kann, das war aber Anfang April kein grosses Problem, ausser, man will um 22 Uhr schon schlafen.... Ich hatte in der Wohnung alles, was ich brauchte. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietungs-Agentur war, bis auf einen Stolperer beim Check-in, sehr gut.

45 Minuten, bevor ich jemanden zur Schlüssel-Übergabe treffen sollte, erhielt ich eine Message, dass das leider nicht möglich ist. Ich soll den Schlüssel mit einem Code in einem Laden abholen. Dieser Code kam dann (gefühlt) lange nicht. Schlussendlich hat aber alles geklappt, solche kurzfristigen Änderungen sind jedoch unangenehm....

Yataklar biraz rahatsız.Şehir merkezinde ve eski bir yapı olduğu için; komşuların ve bina altındaki mekanların seslerini duymak mümkün.Bina merdivenleri akşam saatlerinde karanlık.2 gün cep telefonu ışığıyla çıkıp 3.gün kataki aydınlatmayı gördük o da merdivenleri değil sadece bulunduğu alanı aydınlarıyordu
