A lovely chilled out stay !!!

We had a lovely stay, on arrival staff were very welcoming !!! The room was lovely, and breakfast was amazing. Plenty of parking !! The main thing is we had a good night sleep, and had everything we needed, perfect !!!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and very understanding about the problem on arrival of there being no running water due to a burst water main locally. The service was excellent throughout or stay. We both agreed that we would go again if we wanted a night away from home, for a break. Well Done to all.

Superb Location - Lovely Husband & Wife Team ❤️

Fran was welcoming and accommodating and upgraded us to a bigger room free of charge. The bed was huge and had a great view from our window.

It was a little difficult to get the shower to a comfortable temp in the morning but assumed that it was just us / because others may have been showering at the same time, it was really no big deal.

Lovely comfortable home but needs a lot of work done to it as was very rundown

Very homely and comfortable. Lots of space- bigger than I expected and loved the extra sitting room. Had all we needed. And great location.

Lovely property but didn’t feel it had been looked after well- was notified in advance blinds had broken in one bedroom, but was broken toilet seat, broken shower control, couldn’t open back door to back yard/garden, broken fridge in kitchen still with food in, etc. then when arrived electrics went off- tried contacting owners but was no WiFi (due to no electric) and the 4G/3G wasn’t very good so struggled to make contact but they left it for me to get husband to sort when he arrived much later that evening (fortunately he could fix it easily but caused us worry whole time it might go off again or was a faulty electric plug somewhere). Also from description was led to believe was allocated public parking area- but was in fact on street parking. And there was no instructions how to use house equipment eg Heating system, coffee machine, etc etc which I would expect normally.

Travelled down from Scotland for a wedding and was greeted warmly by the staff…rooms were excellent…clean and very bright with a real homely feel. Facilities were great…breakfast was excellent…location was beautiful and as I mentioned the staff were extremely welcoming x

There’s nothing not to like about The Red Pump Inn. A quaint little country B&B run by Fran and Jonathan who were amazing and lovely people who couldn’t do enough for us! We will definitely be back!

A lovely place to stay in stunning countryside

A traditional English inn located in stunning Lancashire countryside, a place full of character. Cozy bar downstairs, period furnished room with superb power shower in the modern ensuite, very quiet location, superb continental and English breakfast (and plenty of it!). Very nice, helpful staff.

Pleasant room, nicely furnished. Very good choice of breakfast.

Room very small, no ironing board. Room not cleaned during 2 day stay. Staff seemed uncertain about charge for evening meal. Very isolated.
