Great pub accommodation in a lovely spot. Fantastic walks right from the car park.
It was very busy due to a wedding so we couldn't use the beer garden or look at the view. Couldn't have a drink in the bar as no where to sit, all tables reserved for diners so more a restaurant than a pub.

Location is great - in a nice part of the country side. Room was laid out well and the bed was comfortable. The evening meal was decent, although the menu was a little limited. Bar selection was good. The place had a good feel to it. Breakfast was fine.
We weren’t told that there was a wedding party taking place when we booked. Quite rightly, the wedding party were having a great time, however, they took over the place with loud music until 12.30 am and then people talking loudly until gone 2am - not relaxing at all and led to a poor nights sleep. Absolutely no fault of the wedding party - it was their special day. However, when I informed the manager that we’d had a bad nights sleep, he said that they had made booking.com aware of the wedding and they should have informed us! If they had then I wouldn’t have booked that night as it spoiled what could have been a very enjoyable stay. Shame really.
