With some of the most scenic landscapes in the country, this area has been called ‘Britain’s best kept secret’. It’s perfect for riverside rambles, stunning wildlife, castles, museums or just peace and quiet.

It’s from here you can journey to ‘The Centre of The Kingdom’ and follow in the footsteps of Tolkein along the nearby Tolkein Trail, the area that inspired J.R.R. Tolkein for Lord of The Rings. Or you can visit Pendle, made famous by the most notorious witch trials in English history, where you can visit ‘Witches Galore’, who sell ‘all kinds of deliciously devilish merchandise’ - great for kids.

The area has some of the most unique and diverse dining to be found anywhere in the country. From award-winning pies at the Parkers Arms – featured on the Hairy Bikers, to gastro dining at the Inn at Whitewell – a favourite of H.M. The Queen. And if you want to travel further afield, the Lake, District, Yorkshire Dales and Blackpool are all within an hour by car.

Hobbit is just a 10 minute walk from the town of Longridge which has supermarkets, restaurants and quirky bars.

New for 2024, this is a stylish, spacious, 2 bedroom home, and is situated in a very peaceful part of Beacon Fell View Park. It has a steep-sided rockface to the side - home to kestrels, and open fields to the rear where deer roam freely.

Hobbit has all the comforts for a relaxing break away. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, walk in wardrobe and dressing table. The twin room has two comfortable beds with ample wardrobe space.

Both rooms have reading lights, USB charging points and wi-fi connection. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are provided.

The bathroom comprises of WC, washbasin, walk-in shower and 24hr hot water. Luxury toiletries and towels are all provided.

The living area has two very comfortable sofas, pouffe, coffee table, TV, Wi-fi and reading light. The patio windows open to a Juliet balcony with outdoor furniture - perfect to sip a drink whilst watching the sun go down.

The kitchen and dining area comprise of a dining table for four, microwave, gas hob and oven, coffeemaker, kettle and toaster. There is a full-height fridge-freezer. All crockery, glassware, cooking utensils etc, are provided. The home has Wi-fi throughout, gas central heating and private parking for 2 vehicles.

This is a quiet, idyllic spot, and just a five minute walk away, the main park has a large indoor swimming pool, bar, crazy golf, and in-season nightly entertainment for adults and children.
