Station lounge

Great location! So easy to get around and the building was well maintained for its age. The room was super spacious and the staff member we met was so friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again if in town!

The location was great, the pub downstairs looked very clean and welcoming. The rooms were a good size and had everything we needed for our overnight stay and the free parking was a great addition. The manager/owner (didn’t get his name) was lovely, said he had only recently taken over the property but was very helpful and helped carry bags up to the room. He was friendly and showed us the rear entrance to the building and also let us check in early.

Unfortunately the curtains weren’t very functional at keeping the light out as they weren’t flush to the window frame area which meant we were woken up around 5:30 with the sun. The bed was also quite creaky with every little movement.

The friendliness of the staff and the location was brilliant. The bed was comfy and clean.

The room was very tired and not overly clean. The bathroom was dirty and some of the furniture was broken.
