The rooms resonate with the traffic noise on the motorway side in some rooms (deep droning noise), have had to be moved because of that, I always ask for a car park facing room but not always available !

Everything is good with the hotel except the food on the first night no choice only main course when it came the peas had been microwaved the mash was only warm on outside in the middle was Luke warm and the pie was ok not what I expect from here

Wonderful stay

The staff were professional helpful and courteous. One young woman helped to secure my mobile phone that I had left in a taxi cab. Her enquiries with the taxi company which took three days, concluded in my getting my mobile back. Her name was Katie. A very special lady. 10 out of 10 for all the staff.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and very efficient.

There was no bedside table on one side of the bed and there was not much space next to the bed to get out of bed.

Hotel as excellent as ever - sudden knee issue made location awkward

Comfort of room (as always). Would normally have no problem with the location (despite not being able to drive. Sudden onset of a severe knee injury (nothing to do with the hotel), cause the need for UBER use to get around. Still slept very well.

Booked this hotel on several occasions

Great location and value for money

Lack of understanding and sensitivity on the last day. We were attending a 91 year old aunt’s funeral. Our 90 year old dad was exhausted the morning after the funeral, he needed a nap just before we were checking out for our flights home and I was advised that I would need to pay for a further overnight to extend the use of the room (we were leaving an hour after this request). Our family booked 4 rooms, purchased lunch and evening meals, drink etc therefore I believe staff should have used their discretion.

Everything was as it usually is excellent apart from the cleanliness in the bathroom

As above bathroom floor was very dirty and even though we asked for it to be cleaned when we arrived back on Saturday night we decided to clean it with a toothbrush and soap we got quite a bit of and the towel was absolutely black first time in this hotel we have had this usually it is spotless
