The location and setting of the barn was perfect for what we needed for the weekend, it had all the modern finishing touches and was very clean
We were given shampoo instead of hand wash, this was only minor and not really a down point of the stay.

A good size room with a comfy bed
We could hear alot of noise from room 10. They were either talking very loud or the walls are not very insulated

We loved absolutely everything about this wee find. Came across it by chance and couldn’t believe how perfect it was for one overnight. The staff are probably the best there is in any stays I have recently stayed in and I travel a lot for work. When I first arrived myself , Simon the owner was over sitting with me, made me a pot of tea then took me a wee tour of the the premises before taking me to our room. Loved loved it and can’t wait to go back 💖

We had a family room which was great. Double sized bunk beds for my kids in a separate ish room, it’s walled off just not fully. Had everything we needed. Clear instructions on room and how to get in.

Loved the location
Probably no windows but we only stayed one night so not a big problem

Easy directions to find the room.
Room was clean, spacious, lots of plug sockets.
Bed was warm and very comfortable.
The room didn’t have a bath.

Cannot comment on breakfast as it wasn't available. I was aware of this when I booked.
Didn't like the pillows as I found them too hard.

Property was unique and very cosy
Would have preferred check out to be 11am like other hotels
After a night out 10 am was a bit too early

The door was open on arrival however we struggled with the key code when going out. Thank fully there was a contact number and the host came and resolved the problem

Really fantastic accommodation! Spacious room, big bathroom, plenty of amenities such as towels and bedding. The host was easy to reach via text and always answered my questions quickly, very good communication!
No real issues at all! The only thing I would say is it's a bit in the middle of nowhere and the internet provided was a little slow but overall wasn't too bad!

The location. Well equipped bathroom with a good shower.
No day light as only had a tiny window that was frosted. Also we had booked another room for our grown up sons and we requested a twin with single beds but on check in we realised it was a double with one bed only which wasn’t ideal.

Fabulous clean room in an excellent location.
No window, therefore no fresh air and room was very warm in the night.

OK, this is a hard review really. The room itself is lovely, nicely decorated smart enough, clean and comfortable.
Decent bathroom, nice products too.
The shower was appalling, would have been great when it was installed however it hasn't been maintained well and sprays everywhere except where you want it.
The room is incredibly hot. No windows as it was an internal room (didn't know this when booking) and no air-conditioning, fan or anything, was so hot during the night we couldn't sleep.
TV is useless, pointless being there, no terrestrial channels just weird random ones, this was minor to be honest, but it's a honest review.

Reasonably priced. Facilities ok
There is no “reception” so you have to let yourself in and out of the property by a safe key lock. It is a mile from anywhere and the Uber dropped me off at the postcode which is incorrect and I had to walk 0.6 miles to the accomodation at midnight . Not happy

Location was beautiful and peaceful
A bit more wall storage for things

Personal communication from the host made it very easy.
Only 1 thing.
The windows were frosted. I feel Venetian blinds would work better.
I get it as I was in room 9 which was on the main path but the views were so beautiful I would have liked to look out.

We had key code but I couldn’t make it work
So I rang the number left on door and they came and opened the door and explained what we were doing wrong
Finding it lol

Beautiful building in a beautiful setting .Stayed before last year in a bigger room which was equally as good only disappointment was it was just a flying visit for us this time. The rooms and grounds are immaculate the interior and exterior design is 10/10 staying true to the buildings history. It’s a tough time for farmers and land owners these days and diversifying is a must for them a lot of respect to the owners for taking a leap of faith starting up the business they have done themselves proud.
It’s a small nit pick but the TV channel set up was odd but when your staying at a place like Bashall Barn who needs TV anyway.

The location was gorgeous and thankfully we had nice weather too so could appreciate the views. Super close to Clitheroe too was only about 6 minutes to the supermarkets/restaurants and takeaways
Honestly nothing, cannot fault it at all

Lovely property.
Room stylish with good quality beds and towels.
Bedroom was good. Bathroom very good.
Unable to close the skylight.
A small green light ( smoke detector?) so bright it bathed the whole room in light in the darkness.
Breakfast was ok at best- no cooked options very little choice.
Asked to hand in the room key on finishing breakfast- a first in terms of feeling like an inconvenience despite the fact we were 45 minutes away from the specified check out time of 10am.

Bedroom could of done with a bedside table but that’s being picky.

Nice quiet location.
Lovely chinese restaurant nearby a short drive away.
Nice decor in the room.
Warm and welcoming on arrival.
Plenty of parking next to the accommodation.
Very clean room.
We couldn't get the tv working, we did ask for the wifi details, we tried to connect to the wifi on site but the signal wasn't great and it wouldn't connect. We had to link the smart tv to our hotspot on our phone, but that wasnt great because of the low signal in the area. I guess that the location is so far out in the countryside and this is why we struggled with a connection.
We stayed 1 night so this took up a bit of our evening trying to sort out and in the end we had to cope with the tele pausing frequently.
Would be ideal if all rooms have some additional self catering facilties other than a kettle as the location is remote, or offer a food service on site of an evening in the future or a welcome list of nearby of places you can visit for meals out & places to visit if staying for the more than 1 night.
We both struggled to get signal on our phones to find somewhere and we had to drive out of town before we could search on maps where to go for some food, it would of made it a little easier if we had knowledge prior.
