Beautiful peaceful property on the outside of San Sebastián. It’s a 10-15 min drive or bus ride to the city center. That brings some extra peace and quiet and a rooftop pool and spa which we very much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was generous and eggs are made to order. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming and the parking and charging (with fair fees) was comfortable.
The climate control is centralized so the unit in the room doesn’t do anything. While the temperature was mostly comfortable I would like to have more control over it.

Great secure parking garage (chargeable), easy / cheap bus in to old town every 10 mins or so. Has a nice spa (chargeable), good hotel breakfast.
Hotel rooftop pool was closed despite warm weather in June, breakfast used to be a choice at cafe or hotel breakfast - now it’s just hotel breakfast option.

ARIMA hotel was such a relaxing place to stay. The design of the hotel is beautiful and calming and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. While it is in the suburbs of San Sebastián it’s pretty easy to get a bus into town from just outside the hotel and there is a beautiful wooded area behind the hotel that provides lovely walks and runs. I had a delicious meal in the restaurant and also enjoyed a great massage (and excellent sleep afterwards). The roof pool (cold!) was a very refreshing break from the heat but the spa pools are warm if that is your preference.
It would be nice if hotel guests could use the spa facilities for free or at a discounted rate.

the staff was very friendly. I liked the interior of rooms. It was quiet at night. Parking was easy to access and the hotel room was beautiful.
The black our blinds don't darken the room. There was still a lot of light coming in, we were staying on the site of the street and the street lights were shining in our room, even with both blinds closed. I was able to see at night in the room without any lights on. This prevented both my partner and me from sleeping, as we are used to sleep in a completely dark room. We also brought sleep mask just in case, yet it was still too bright. This is the reason I would not book this hotel again. The smell in the room reminded me mildew. You could see black mold in the shower.
