Pensión Garibai

Pension Garibai is wonderful, 5 minutes walk to the old town and 5 mins walk to the beach. Very clean, good shower and comfy bed. No dining facilities, but there is a little bar/restaurant 2 shops down that does breakfast, pinchos and dinner. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Nothing

Fantastic location, right in the centre of town, close to all the main shopping areas and La Concha Beach, Very close to underground secure parking (Telepark). Modern, clean and tidy rooms which considering their location (righ in the middle of the city centre), they were extremely quiet and no street noise whatsoever.

The sofa bed in the lounge is broken and the "mattress" does not lay on the bed frame fully (as it is broken), so this was extremely uncomfortable for my daughters (plus eveytime you moved on the sofabed it was very creaky). The heating / airconditioing units did not worl properly and were also very noise and could do with a little attention. There were no hooks in any rooms or on the back of any doors to hang any coats or colthers etc and there were no towel racks in the bathroom to hang and dry towels etc (these are only small things but they make a difference when the room is a family room and space is a premium etc)

Elevator for my travel mobility scooter .Great quiet location one street away from the square bordering the Old Town. Two restaurants below, pizza one superb, next one not that great. Go eat pintxos in the Old Town!!!! Security was good for entry. Admin/receptionist really helpful. Guest coffee machine welcomed. Excellent historic ice cream parlor down same street !!!!! We felt very safe coming home at night.

Shower was a bit tiny for a limited mobility guest. Rooms small by our standards but space is premium I guess. We had a lovely balcony to view the street..not big enough to sit on. Price was higher than normal as it was International Film Festival - we should have checked our dates as accommodation was at a premium. Next time !!

Great location and ideally located near high end shops and restaurants.

Pillows were a bit hard and could have done with a waste bin in the bedroom area.
