Ideal plave for vacation

The host Ivana was perfect, very helpful and friendly. The apartment is exactly as at the pictures. It was a great pleasure to fall a sleep and to wake up with lake and fortress veiw out of the windows. Plenty public parking near the house. The house is on the top of the hill. We enjoyed it very much due to the veiw, but should be taken into account

Excellent stay

This is a fantastic location in the old town. There is a convenience market and a cafe within about 20 metres. It is on the quiet side of old town and overall it is very quiet - the only noises you may hear at night at the dogs (unpredictable whether they will bark or not!) and they only really kept me up on one night. There is a lovely view over the lake. The space is large and comfortable. The owner Ivana lives on the property so was able to provide me access on arrival - she was very helpful during the stay when I was unable to get in and helped me with the door. I recommend this place!

The front door into the property was a bit difficult to open.

Loved this place!

Great location near the Ancient Macedonian Theater and close to Samuel's Fortress. It was a short walk to the busy waterfront, but the property was quiet. And since we had our own private patio garden, it made for a lovely place to relax during the hot afternoons. Our host, Ivana, was attentive and responsive to all our requests.

We can't think of anything we'd change about the property.

Clean and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful part of old town Ochrid. Amazing communication from the owner. Beautiful views from the balcony room and a beautiful private garden in the “apartment with garden”. A great size room with all the facilities you need such as fridge, kettle etc.

What a gem!

Our stay at this place was fantastic! The apartment is nice, spacious and has everything you need for a short stay. It was also very clean. Most importantly, it has an amazing view, so when we were lying in bed, we could see the lake from one window and the fortress from the other - we literally didn't know where to look! And morning coffee on the balcony was so enjoyable! Also, the bed was very comfy and big. The location of the apartment is great, there is some climbing involved but at least it's on a super quiet and charming street, and very close to the ancient theatre and the fortress. Finally, the hostess was very nice and helpful. All in all, great experience - highly recommended!

It's good to bring earplugs just in case neighbors like to make noise after 10pm. Other than that - everything was perfect!

A clean room, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and friendly hosts. I recommend it!

Unfortunately, apartment number 1 is adjacent to the road, so sometimes passing cars generate a lot of noise (even at night). If you have trouble falling asleep, consider another location. Unfortunately, the WIFI signal is extremely weak. It kept disconnecting, and my private router with a T-Mobile card, unfortunately, had no coverage in this room (probably due to thick walls).

Everything. The place is beautiful, the accommodation is nice, close to everything and located in a beautiful part of the city. There is a small kitchen with the basic pots, pans and glasses, everything you need. No one bothered us, the owners were always available if needed. The owners Ivana and her mother in law are so nice.

Despite what I have written above we enjoyed our stay the hospitality of our host very much.

Very much impressed with the host and her efforts to make us feel welcome and address our concerns. She was very responsive and attentive to our concerns. We also loved the location.

1) This was rated as a 4 star but I do not believe that it has the facilities of a 4-star accommodation. 2) We were also disappointed that there were towel hooks that were broken though this was addressed quickly. There were other issues that needed some maintenance attention such as ... - unpleasant smell in the upstairs apartment. - loose shower head attachment on the wall of ground floor apartment - loose power outlet in the kitchen of ground floor apartment 3) The wardrobe (ground floor apartment) beside the bed was awkward to get into. Given the space between the wardrobe and the bed a wardrobe with sliding doors would work better.

Great Room close Upper gate in Ohrid old town

Really nice, modern cool and queit room not many meters away from the upper gate. Almost no trafik and even thue its a small road oitside the Windows it was almost no one passing since its so high up on the side. Churches and Amphitheather also really close. One just behend the house. A nice walk is to go up to the fortress, enjoy the wiew and then go over the hill down to the Monestary and continue down to the small church on the cliff, before goding down to the water and in to the town. That way u dont have to do so match climbing up the stairs and hills. First time I wisited Ohrid i did the walk the other way, upphill. And this way, since u already stay at sutch a nice place and location is a good one. Easy to take taxi there on arrival. She was so kind and prebooked a driver that waited for us at the airport. I do not recomend walking up there with bags uphill the small cobbelstone Streets. Its a uphill walk to the room from town at nigh, but it was worth it along the butifull streets. If u dont want to walk a taxi takes u up fast and cheap on the Streets behind the old town. We forgot a jacket and the owner mailed us about it so that we can go and pick it up. She is really nice and god at English also.

Wifi could be lite better but it worked. The doorlock needed some twerking with the key before u got the hang of it and could open. The led light list around the bedboard at the Wall was just blinkning so we could not have it turned on.

AMAZING place!

AMAZING place! We arrived at first for 2 nights, but in first 1 hour weve decided to stay 1 day more, partly because of the balcony with the lake view. Hosts is a lovely family. The house located in the old town but away from crowds, so after 6 pm it is so calm. I think half of the time we spent on that balcony. The only criticism: will be nice to have more things in the kitchen for cooking, like small things - salt, pepper and regular oil.
