I would gladly stay here again.

The host was friendly and helpful, the views on the Old Town and the lake were stunning, it was close – though uphill – from the old center of town. For me this was the ideal location for a stay in Ohrid.

There really were no disappointments. The balcony was a bit narrow, but fine for having tea and breakfast. And the bathroom was a bit cramped, but also not a problem – and it was what I expected. There was nothing I would really complain about.

Loved the view, balcony and the location to the old town and all the beautiful sites to visit!

The bathroom was a little awkward with the slanting roof and the shower door is a little rusty, but it was not a deal breaker.

Great location & view in old town Ohrid!

Amazing view from the balcony. Excellent location in the old town. Spacious room, very clean, great host. Would definitely stay here again. Just to clarify, although called a studio, it’s only a room and a bathroom. The kitchen is common and shared. I was aware of this thanks to other reviews and it wasn’t an issue for me but something to note if you think you’re booking a place with its own kitchen. Maybe the other rooms do have one, mine did not. Best to clarify if this is important to you.

The location was great. Nice view of the old town and the lake. Easy and short walk to the main beach area, the restaurants, and the fortress. The host was very kind and you can tell she is genuinely grateful for nice guests.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful place. Loved it.

The apartment was in a fabulous location in the Old Town with stunning views of the lake from the balcony. It was very clean. We were only there a week and we got clean towels and bedding half way through. The owner is a lovely lady who was very helpful. The shared kitchen is great and we used it to make breakfast and lunch. Ohrid is a wonderful place with lots to see and do but it is also really relaxing. The beach areas are lovely for sunbathing and swimming and there is a wide choice of wonderful restaurants.

Great location, wonderful view, comfy room and friendly hostess!!

Great location, and the view from the balcony in my room was just spectacular. the hostess is super friednly and attentive. Bed is very comfy and the size is perfect for one person or two. There are also fridge in the room so you can store some cold sparkling water for yourself. The common area has a kitchen where you can make your own coffee and stuff. Over all I really enjoyed my stay!!

If there is only one thing I'm craving for improvement, it's probably the size of the bathroom.

Wonderful stay !

This is a wonderful property with a stunning view of lake ohrid and the old town ! We had a beautiful room with a balcony for 6 nights . The place is spotless and our sheets were changed and room cleaned throughout the stay . It’s a perfect base to explore ohrid - everything is within walking distance . It has a well equipped kitchen which allowed us to prepped our breakfast , coffee , lunch etc . Our host was so lovely and went out of her way to help us during our stay - really recommend this place .

Highly recommend

We stayed for three nights and had an absolutely lovely experience. From the beginning, communication with the host was incredibly helpful and friendly, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect! Close to everything we needed and the view from the balcony was simply stunning. The room was well-equipped and comfortable. It was a little cold at times, but there was an AC unit that kept things cozy. I imagine in summer the cooler temperature inside would actually be a big plus. One of the sweetest touches was that the host left us a small gift since we were celebrating a birthday weekend and it really made our stay feel extra special. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Exceptional views, amazing location, great experience overall

The views of Lake Ohrid were absolutely magnificent with a completely different feel in the morning, during day and at night. We sat out on the balcony and lapped it up pretty much the whole time. The room was very comfortable - one bedroom and sofa bed in living room. Bathroom was modern. We had use of small kitchen to prepare some food that we then ate on our balcony with the amazing views. The host was extremely helpful - She lives downstairs or next door. I did a small load of washing which turned out to be very convenient as I was on a month-long holiday (this is not designed for massive multiple loads of washing, but the host can arrange for that if you discuss with them)

Parking was not so easy, but it isn't easy anywhere in Ohrid if you want to be in such a good location.

Great time in Ohrid

The location is perfect, the view from balcony is breathtaking. We felt like home. The owner is very kind and helping. We also had upgrade to a bigger room. Thanks a lot for that! 😊 The house is beautiful, cozy and extremely clean. It has kitchen with everything you need for tea or coffee and microwave also. Great value for money. If you want to stay in Ochrid, that is the perfect place. ❤️

Even though I was late, the landlady was there to meet me on arrival, and was so kind and caring, worrying about my being tired :) She gave me a wonderful, huge room with a balcony and spectacular view over the lake. It was warm and comfortable, and there was a television with CNN and movie channels in English. She explained how to get to the town and where restaurants and ATMs were, etc. When I mentioned I was planning to go and buy a bus ticket to Skopje, she called ahead to check schedules and make the reservation for me - I didn't have to do anything. What I greatly appreciated about Villa Ohrid was the signage! There are plenty of signs on the nearby streets indicating where the villa is so it's easy to find. I wish all places I stayed had this!

Great value for money, location in middle of UNESCO cultural heritage, nice view.

The room looks even nicer than on pictures. Even though it's 20m2, everything is well packed, so we had spacious feeling. The view from balcony is very nice. Everything is clean and wonderful. As in every old town the limited space for construction activities has led to the formation of a very narrow network of streets. Acomodation is accesable by car and public parking place is 100m far away from apartment. Location is very good, not just for dicovering old town but also for relatively quick acsses by foot to beach and to epicentar of night life. On top of this, the host was very welcoming and provided us with useful information where to go and what to wisit in short time. Only 100m from the acomodation there is a restaurant with beautiful view on lake, friendly and kind staff, very tastefull and afordable food. We had a great time. I would definitely recomended this acomodation.
