Great stay, felt well looked after

Amazing staff, beautiful property. Very clean and great housekeeping. We were initially put on the road side which was quite noisy from the busy Ubud traffic (ear plugs were provided) however we didn’t sleep well so we requested to be moved and the hotel were very accommodating. Had we known about this small inconvenience prior to booking, we wouldn’t have requested to move but we felt this should have been advertised hence the reason for asking. Breakfast was great at a reasonable price and pool was lovely (regularly cleaned)

Amazing stay in Ubud

Amazing place in Ubud. Just few steps from lots of restaurants and boutiques. 15min walking from the Monkey Forest and 30min walking the Ubud palace. The staff is very welcoming and kind

Convenient, cheap, and great location, only loud patrons let it down.

Beautiful place, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, but expect the usual wear and tear from the harsh weather conditions (constant rain causing a little water damage, etc). Beautiful gardens and a clean, very inviting pool. Very reasonable price for location, only 5 mins from monkey forest and 25 from a market. Good, clean, cheap restaurants in the area for dining. Some shops and convenience stores as well.

What let this place down is the noise. Being tiled, which amplified the noise and, being a cheaper accommodation, resulted in loud and inconsiderate patrons staying here. Whilst the beds were comfortable, people returning late or checking out early to go to the airport resulted in a really poor night sleep. Unfortunately, something the hotel can't prevent or improve, but if you are a deep sleeper or out to party, (or want to try your luck as we may have just stayed on a bad night) this place is very nice and would work out well.

Value for money- a good option for a budget traveller

EXCELLENT location, close to the busy streets of Ubud but set back so our room was nice and quiet. Lovely pool areas and lots of greenery

Bathroom had some mould in it and the towels given to us were very old- a shade of gray instead of white.

No breakfast, the entrance wasn’t suitable for large suitcases. Had to carry multiple suitcases over a pebble stone, rock path then up stairs.

Noise from staff no stop from 545 in the morning till late at night. They hose the place all the time, even after rain , so you continually slipping on walkway or paving stones, it's very dangerous, a court case waiting to happen.

Staff were very friendly and the location is walking distance to lots of restaurants, spas and yoga barn. Pool to cool off in the afternoon is great.

Amazing stay in Ubud. Nice and helpful staff. Great pool, comfortable bed. Definitely we will come back :)

Bar next to hotel (i think Onion bar) has each night music loud until 11 p.m., but if you like party, you can enjoy it :)

Amazing location, near cafes, restaurants, bars and right in the center of Ubud. Modern rooms and very clean facilities with plenty of space. Pool area is small but very well kept. Very good quality/price relation.

Spacious room, complete amenities, clean and spotless, staff are very nice and helpful, they help us to bring our luggage as our room in a 2nd floor, facility are great, clean Location is great, near the monkey forest. What I really like, there is Warung Kedaton right in front of the hotel.

location is just 5-7 min from yoga barn, so no more excuse to miss yoga class :)) lots of shops, salons, cafes are near by. good wi-fi (possible to work remotely in zoom) , clean room, furniture and room equipment are good! the room is big,full of light (2nd floor), very comfort to stay for long time. staff is very nice, always smiling and helpful. they were looking if I went to yoga and clean up my room by my come back!!! room cleaning includes 4 bottles of still water (!!!) – much appreciate it. very clean pool, but due to location not all the time possible to get the sun I enjoyed my stay for 6 weeks there and much appreciate all the team supported me with room cleaning, advises and just saying hello or smile :)) by the way, I saw several times the team changed the sofa’s cover in lobby. can you imagine this? it’s awesome. last but not least, I feel safely during my stay. it’s important.

you shouldn’t expect quite place, because it’s located in heart of Ubud and sometimes you will be privileged to enjoy live music / karaoke from the near places :))

All in all, Jani's place would suit for a short 1-2 days stay for young couples on a budget.

We liked the service - people working at Jani's were very friendly and always keen to help - and the proximity of the hotel to the Monkey forest and various cafes/restaurants.

Rooms facing the street side were noisy, and some of my family members struggled to sleep well there. The swimming pools does not have a shallow zone for kids.
