Clean and comfy, the room size was great and the balcony view is lovely and peaceful. There is a variety of breakfast options and the hosts are friendly and communicative. On a peaceful and quiet road away from all the traffic too.

I really loved the room—it had a true Balinese resort vibe. The jungle view right in front of the balcony was amazing. Even when it rained, the wide eaves allowed me to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sound of the rain.
The breakfast was delicious, and all the staff were very kind. One of them could even speak Japanese, which made me feel very comfortable and welcome.
There was also a cute puppy that followed the staff around—it was so adorable.
Considering the price, this place is an absolute bargain and I highly recommend it.

The location is stunning and the furnishings are really modern. The price was really low. The breakfast was good, you get to choose from 3 different options the night before and then someone brings it to you on the terrace at the time you set in the morning (without entering the room, because the terrace is shared (tough you do get privacy).
Sadly, the two main issues were insects and cleanliness.
It was obvious they didn't dust the property in months. There were spider webs on the wooden decoration above the beds (which we cleaned a little with wet wipes), as well as in other places.
Now the insects... the moment we entered the room there was a giant ant on the bed. As we started to unpack and check the bet, we could see other tiny insects on the mattress. We asked for a bug spray which the host promptly provided, then sprayed the room and then let it aerate - which took about an hour because we really wanted to get the smell out.
But once we got inside and sat on the bed, another ant decided to share the bed with us.
There was also a really thin worm on the terrace which got inside and added to the anxiety. We saw a few more that night and didn't get really good sleep because we kept waking up thinking about these insects.
In the morning, the gecko that was outside the room hid into the terrace door frame and we asked the lady who brought us breakfast to help us find it and get it out... She didn't speak English and called a boy who was there who then said he will get the manager or something... which I don't think he did at least by the time we went out.
We checked out after the first night even though we had paid for 5 nights because there was no obvious way to keep our bed and floor insect-free. Such a shame for an otherwise modern location with a great view... but when you are this close to the woods, deal the doors and install some insect nets and clean it properly every day or every other day - and I would gladly pay double the current price to stay there!
PS. The hot water fluctuated between hot and cold more than in other properties we stayed in Bali. There are a few small dogs on the property and one of them started barking at us a couple of times - just something to keep in mind!
