Terrazza Casa Mia Matera

Amazing location in the heart of sassi bareoso. Stunning views from the terrace at night and during the day. Apartment is well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Francesco was extremely helpful recommending great local restaurants and easily available to contact by text. Check in was straightforward and communication clear. It felt like a home away from home. Very nice stay.

Read the fine print. This is a sofa bed not a double room. It was comfortable for 1 person but may not suit all.

Je ne saurais exprimer à quel point nous avons adoré cet appartement, et surtout sa terrasse absolument exceptionnelle. La vue qu’elle offre est tout simplement incroyable et nous a laissés sans voix. Chaque soir, je restais de longs moments à la contempler tellement l’endroit était magique. Rien que pour cette terrasse, cet hébergement vaut le détour. L’appartement en lui-même est plutôt petit, mais parfaitement bien pensé, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un excellent séjour. On s’y sent tout de suite bien. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein cœur de Matera, ce qui permet de tout visiter facilement à pied. Le monsieur qui nous a accueillis était adorable, chaleureux et disponible. Nous avons eu un véritable coup de cœur pour cet appartement, mais aussi pour Matera. Si nous revenons un jour, ce qui est certain, nous réserverons de nouveau ici sans hésiter une seule seconde.

This view is amazing. One of the best in Matera. Just book it for the view! Big terrace. Clean. Good communication with owner. The city bus stops right outside. There is a 24/7 self service kiosk right outside. Lost of restaurants/bars outside.

The sheets had a bit of a sour smell, maybe not totally dried before putting away. Not the best bed, but was prepared for this. Google maps showed me to another place down the street when putting the adress in, so be aware of this might happen. The owner had given me directions, but I came from a different direction and not with bus.
